What should the next “Every Inaccuracy” video be?

I hate how you pronounce every single name. Character and location alike.
Correct spelling of names: Oden, Tor, Loke, Siv, Hel, Ymer, Surt, Mimer, Vaner, Asgård... As a swede it is so frustrating to hear how badly americans try to pronounce these names. No more so than Asgård, which is pronounced Awes-gourd, not Ass-guard.
Also, there is no Helheim. It is simply called Hel, just its ruler, and is actually where christians stole the udea if their version of Hell when they came up north and began christening the vikings about 1200 years ago.

so much to say before you can even say it.
Well, I think love and blunder was bad, regardless of the real world lore and history about these gods.
I mean, they're casting some nobody to be Hercules in the next one, sorry, not a nobody, but a bloody wannabe comedian.
Hercules, a comedian!
Waititi or whatever his name is has completely Warner Bros cartoonified the MCU's Thor, it feels like a bugs bunny cartoon, it even plays out like one.
Also, Odin's multi legged horse is one of Loki's kids. Loki as a mother that is.
Loki transgendered himself into a mare to let himself get mounted by a male horse, and gave birth to Odin's Mount.

History.

I thought it wasn't exactly known which nine realms the nine realms refer to. There's actually 11 different names, and it's hard to place them because Norse prose had all those lovely kennings to make things confusing.

Great video.

Marvel took some Norse names and throw them in at random without a care.

Yeah, the Norse in Marvel and given I'm quite knowledgeable about Norse Mythology is a reason I can't enjoy movies, especially one's like Thor because it just ignore any and all lore behind the actual mythology or lore.

You've put to words what I agonize over when watching movies like this. I thank you, good sir.

in thor you don't really see how odin loses the eye! if you know the mythology you can very well assume that he gained the knowledge during the war by giving his eye and there by gaining the knowledge to defeat the frost giants!

That's the difference between "mythology" and "living religions".

Nobody complains about a story based on christian mythology for adapting to something akin to more modern, (at least pseudo) scientific cosmology instead of insisting on them showing biblically accurate geo centric cosmology.

Um, and I might be wrong, but isn't "Loki did not think this through" sum up a lot of issues in Norse mythology? Seems like it fits the whole "Loki didn't think to have them swear on Gunginir"

Worst thing from mythology they left out of the films: that Thor's hammer gets bigger when he rubs it.

As to the disparities between the movie and myths lets face it if you went to say sentinel island and flicked a bic lighter they would think you were a fire god who created fire from your hands as they say in the movie and stated by many people elsewhere magic is just technology we do not understand.

Well while i'm total against who they got to play Cleopatra in that travesty of a Netflix show (and god don't have gal Gadot play her either, that would be insulting, even though she is awesome) I have no problem with Idris Elba Playing Heimdell he rocks the roll and it is fantasy and not based on a real person or even being tried to be pushed as a documentary now if the Netflix Cleopatra was advertised as a fantasy reimagining they could have had a dude playing him for all I care.

Personally, im a Norse Pagan, but i dont mind the re-imagining.

I like to think of it kind of like Stargate. Stargate makes all the "gods" of human kind into advanced alien races with high tech.

I dont mind the adaptation.
