How to Xclip Multiple Boundaries in Autocad (Unlimited Clipping Mask)

Does this work on Xref DWG files with polylines?

I'm confused, how's this any different to the 'wipeout' command?

Great solution.
It sure helps to keep the drawings clean.
But is it also possible to undo the clipping?
I've tried to turn clipping off, but it only turns off my original "CLIPPED"-boundary.
