What if i wanted the same gradient or color of that AI layer ? The new converted layers are now gray color and even i try to put the gradients code the angle won't be same. I want to know so i can morph the objects.

There's a shortcut here too, you can just copy each mask and paste it oppositely on where you are gonna morph into

Can you make the transitions without Adobe Illustrator? Just by downloading the icons and importing them to AE..

So great and detailing, i have a question, whether or not a tool/plugin do the same that quickly?

I never quite understood why you used an alpha matte in the end
