So I’ve just currently started watching this, episode 1. I’m on. The story seems interesting, making me want to know what’s next. This operation which as been buried away. However Jeff is an amazing actor without doubt. But I’m not going to over exaggerate like majority of these comments are in my opinion. The camera skills are okay, the choreography is a bit naff. Especially the fighting, shows more of an old man having a squabble and barely just making it out alive in the fights he gets into, who’s not has skilled as the show is making him out to be. Example the car scene when it’s supposedly it’s special forces, it would never have gone down like that. He’s got a flip knife in the car to cut cable ties but chooses to untie his feet to kick the enemy in the face, resulting in near death to them both. When he could have simply cut his hands free straight after his feet, slicing the enemy’s throat and taking the wheel. It’s meh so far.

I just watched season 1 for the second time. This trailer makes it look like a typical action-thriller-spy story. It is way deeper and more layered than that.

Jeff Bridges was born for these kinds of hard core roles. He IS a natural born bad ass, thespian speaking of course. In real life, he is known to be a gentle pussy cat....thankfully. This could be a modern day version of True Grit. Can't wait.
