May 10th 2024, I am embarking on a great walk for mental health and to express the idea of living free...
I will be walking 711.5miles/1145km from calgary to vancouver . I already know that the best moments will be reaching each town along the way! Love this documentary, keep on keeping on... & never forget! LIVE FREE 🇨🇦
Very well done...I truly enjoyed this video.
Ответитьthank youi
Ответитьkeep going ..
Ответитьthanks for sharing
ОтветитьAmazing video!!! People like you inspire me to get outdoors. Thank you
ОтветитьAbsolutely wonderful, you should all be so proud of yourselves. Fantastic! 👍😊
ОтветитьI think I have now watched this at least 6 times. Thank you for such a great revealing of the PCT.
ОтветитьNo need to "s" to SIERRA a single mountain range. Thank You.
ОтветитьBeautiful spirit and beautiful experience. Wish this sense of outdoor discovery and adventure existed in my community. We are so broken, and such an instinct would be so health. Thanks for the experience, brother.
ОтветитьAmazing!!! I plan on hiking next year!!
ОтветитьThose trail angels are inspiring. Cool video bro
Ответитьnot me crying at the end. this was genius! do more. I would have paid for tickets to see this at an indie film fest.
ОтветитьAlways headbang to slayer. Mandatory part of hitchhiking
ОтветитьAfter my last breakup, I started going for really long drives. I worked at night and after work I would start going home, get on the first highway and miss my turn. Just keep driving. 10 miles, then 50. 100 miles. 150. 200 miles from home as a casual drive. I slept in the car and returned to work the next day. I just wanted to go for a really, really long walk. I wanted to get as far from my hometown as I humanly could, and still return to my responsibilities the next day.
I was hemorrhaging money on gas. I quit my job. I'm unemployed and starting a new one soon. It's my first real job and pays a lot more than where I was working before. I hope I can save enough to just go for a really, really long walk.
I could see myself packing and preparing all my stuff for the trail in advance and letting it sit there until someday again I need to go for a long walk.
Beautiful documentary.
This was te very best documentary on the PCT I have ever seen. Beautiful and funny. If I was not almost 80 I would try to go the PCT with a wonderful group as yours. IN fact I live on part of the PCT, one footstep.
. I will watch this again .Austin Seder keep filming!
Absolutely amazing! Stunning narration, cinematography and editing. The trail looked good too! I doubt I'll ever get to try the PCT, but the vicarious pleasure I've got from watching this was fantastic.
ОтветитьYour joy and experience rings true, and your music matches the episodes and moods of your trip. Really excellent and thanks for sharing.
ОтветитьWhat an incredible video.
ОтветитьWow, this is simply fantastic. Life-affirming stuff. Thank you for sharing.
ОтветитьHands down your video is the best one I’ve seen. The ending with the different side profile pictures was amazing. Plus the comedy was hilarious!! All around a great video!! Keep it up
ОтветитьGreat adventure 🤩
ОтветитьAll these videos make me so emotional 😭
ОтветитьNew subscriber here, great video! I particularly liked the hitching hint of headbanging to Slayer. ; ) (DoubleTap, PCT Class of 2014)
Ответитьholy moly. Just happened to push play on this today and you are an incredible person. Keep up what you are doing and best of luck with everythign in your life. Seriously, thanks for that, it was beautiful.
ОтветитьThis was truly amazing. The content, the editing, but most of all the emotion. The excitement of the begging. The thought process and mental struggle of the middle sections. The beautiful, bittersweet ending knowing the goal was accomplished, but the adventure was over, having to return to normal life. Thank you for this.
ОтветитьSuch an amazing film. I have seen so much PCT content by now and it always makes me wanna start planning my own. The editing, music and vibes in this one where on another level though. I also loved the chapters and the arts of all the different trail components. Almost seemed like a PCT experience user manual that way.
Thank you for putting in the extra miles to produce such a gem <3
Thank you for making this epic journey and video. It made me laugh and cry. I know eventually I'll do it. Thank you Austin for taking us along on your epic journey.

ОтветитьGreat Film! I wish I had the patience and skills to record my trips. I was searching for documentaries to watch while feeling a bit anxious at work, and this hit it on the head! It just puts me in a happy place, and I can recall my memories with friends on the PCT in Castle Crags! Way to push it to the next level!
ОтветитьGreat job with the hike and creating the video. You’re a craftsman.
ОтветитьI feel like I've watched this at least 50 times now. It's part of my inspiration routine. Can't wait to see your CDT trip!
ОтветитьMy friend and I just watched this tonight. We are 53 and 52 respectively. It is a fantasy of ours to do this.! Sadly, it will have to wait until a time in our lives where we can do this and not have to worry about our financial situation (you know, a mortgage, kids in HS and college, bills, etc.). What I want to know is - can a 65 year old do this??
Side note: stunning documentary. We never lost interest. Also… Lake Almanor is awesome. As is Burney Falks. :)
Probably the most inspirational film I’ve ever watched. I am going to start hiking.
ОтветитьThat was so beautiful, Austin. Thank you.
ОтветитьWow great documentary! I don’t know why this doesn’t have more views, Austin did a stellar job making this. I feel like I was there hiking the PCT! Thank you!
ОтветитьHail Poseidon!
ОтветитьJust incredible. Which camere did you use???
