10. Bayerische Modellbautage 2024 in Ergolding

Man merkt es ist Herbst, denn die Ausstellungen finden zurzeit fast im wöchentlichen Takt statt! Gut so sage ich, denn nach der Sommerpause hat man wieder Zeit und Lust solche Veranstaltungen zu besuchen.
Gestern habe ich die Bayerischen Modellbautage 2024 in Ergolding bei Landshut besucht, die Vereinsausstelllung des PMC Erding. Wie üblich bestand die Ausstellung vornehmlich aus Flugzeugmodellen, aber das ganze wurde schön durch einige Figuren, Panzer- und Schiffsmodelle aufgelockert. Das modellbauerische Niveau war, wie man an den Photos sehen kann, sehr hoch. Der Wettbewerb war wie gewohnt in Form einer Wahl mit Stimmzetteln organisiert, was eine interessante Variante ist, die mir gut gefällt.
Bausätze und Bücher konnte man reichlich bei den Händlern und an den Clubständen finden, hier wartete das eine oder andere Schnäppchen oder lang gesuchte Teil auf den Besucher. Auch ich bin fündig geworden, was wohl keinen überraschen dürfte!
Besonders schön fand ich die vielen Gespräche, welche so eine Veranstaltung erst zu dem machen, was sie ist. Es is enorm hilfreich und spannend, sich mit Gleichgesinnten über dieses Hobby auszutauschen, noch dazu in so einer angenehmen Atmosphäre.

The autumn season is here, because the model shows take place almost every week now! That is great i say, since we all have time and appetite to visit such shows after the summer break.
Yesterday i visited the Bavarian Model Days 2024 in Ergolding near Landshut, the club show of the PMC Erding. As usual the exhibit consisted mostly of aircraft models, but it got brightened up with a few figures, armor and ship models sitting in between. As you can tell by the photos the scale modelling finesse was very high. The contest was organized like an election with ballot papers, an interesting variant, which i like a lot.
Plenty of kits and books were available at the vendors and club tables, so one or the other bargain waited for the visitor there. I found something there as well, to no one´s surprise!
Very nice in particular were all the conversations i had there, which are the most important thing about such a show. It is enormously helpful and exciting to exchange some thoughts with like-minded people, even more so in such a pleasant atmosphere.
