My direct boss ignores me and has even “forgotten” about me (I’m in a corner). The boss will sit for hours with the people in a higher position, but will not sit with me or my coworker (we’re hourly). I never get any compliments because it’s all negative. I have not been there a year yet, but I feel like my boss doesn’t even get to know me. I’m not asking to be buddies, but I’m asking that you get to know me as a person. There are many problems in the department (no fault of my own-they existed before I even started). Yet, I feel I’m the problem, even though I know I’m not.
ОтветитьAfter watching your video, I realized that I still lack more tips to promote in my job. 😂😂😂
ОтветитьGreat video. But tell me how I gain a date with you? 😍
ОтветитьI dislike the small talk that is socially required in meetings. My personal life is not work related 😂 so ... Feel this is a total waste of our time spent in meetings.
ОтветитьIf I do my best at work and show you respect, you return that respect.
ОтветитьGreat information
ОтветитьThanks Ma'am 👍
ОтветитьPerfect! 😊
ОтветитьI do agreed with all tips but not the last tip,it is so bad I have tried it
Ответитьprettry fire
ОтветитьCan you please do a video on how to explain to your boss that your workload is too high and you are on the verge of burnout without sounding like your just complaining? I work at a high volume law firm and while we are encouraged to let our attorneys know when we can't take on more cases at the moment, it seems that doesn't go anywhere and end up just getting more cases so am not sure at this point how to get my boss to truely understand my current workload and all that I do
ОтветитьSome of what you’re suggesting actually intimidates insecure bosses.
ОтветитьI don't need respect from a narcissist. He doesn't even deserve my respect.
ОтветитьTalk less than necessary.
ОтветитьI don't respect him neither. I don't want him. I regret working for him. Bcos of his insecurities. To show that he is lying let someone else evaluate me. Let work someone in another organization. That man is bully and the reason he behaves that he feels he owns the school and it is right.( He does not behave like good custodian)
ОтветитьI would love a video on how to gain the respect back from your boss/employer after making a mistake/mistakes at work.
Ответитьresp urself and others will resp u

ОтветитьI hate the word BOSS honestly. Give me a "leader" and not a "boss". I wish more "bossy" folks out there acted as more like leaders than just people there to crack the whip on the "subordinates". Leaders respect their workers who make them look good by doing their job well. Too many bosses show respect or show/tell workers they value them. 👈
ОтветитьHow bad is this; if you actually think about it. Just humans and their egos .... shhh.. predators... always fighting.. don't even take time to think that one day .. we all will die...
ОтветитьSure this helps bosses have a respect for you deep down but this isn't how to get ahead. They like being in a position of power and feeling like they can give a gift to someone as opposed to feeling obligated. Doing just enough and reestablishing the hierarchy is how to grow in a company. If you actually want to be a leader, creative, sincere, a hard worker, and reap the benefits- have your own business.
ОтветитьThis sounds like totally normal and common sense advice for relationships, but the insane number of bad bosses shows that this advice does not work.
Ответить❤️❤️❤️
Ответитьi Got a new and first expat Job using your Tips. Thank You Very Much Lynda
ОтветитьWhat about when you've lost all respect FOR your boss (as a human, as a leader, and as a worker)?
ОтветитьNah bro I did the dog thing now I’m getting promoted Lol
ОтветитьAwesome. Linda this is really helpful and very true. Thank you
ОтветитьWhen your boss/CEO sidelines you and bring in a colleague on your project un announced - How do you handle that?
ОтветитьNot true
Some bosses are as holes
Kapag babae mang sipsip nalang haha
ОтветитьI followed Linda a while back then and landed a role in a Fortune 500 company recently. The company required each employee to complete their SMART goal annually and will review by the manager before approval. I do suggest looking into the SMART goal and maybe that will help you.
Ответить1. Flirt
2. Try to be relevant
3. If you suspect that the boss is losing interest in you, sex
4. Sex with co-workers to maintain a mutualistic relationship despite genders
5. Slack off any new employees to prevent your place to be taken
6. Take the credit of other people's work
7. Rinse and repeat
^Didn't know that this was the dynamic of my old job.
I mean, yeah whatever you just said.
💯💯💯💯💯
ОтветитьI don’t know I’ve acted bold with good reason yet respectful but one of the SVPs didn’t like that and set up a “culture” meeting for me, him, my boss and head guy. So I feel stuck like I need to just shut up and listen
ОтветитьThis sounds like "how to be a good slave"
ОтветитьGood!
ОтветитьGreat advice -thank you
ОтветитьGood tips... if yo have a nice boss
ОтветитьIs it really possible when she's incredibly bi polar and unprofessional?
ОтветитьGreat tips!
ОтветитьI have always believed that I am overly nice because Im a kind person and kindness should be valued. I think its terrible that people view kindness as a weakness.
ОтветитьMy boss is nice and kindness but my coworkers suck
Ответитьok, DM PM! linda
ОтветитьThank you this was very helpful
ОтветитьGreat Video, anyways, what if you have tried everything? as in really, everything and yet your boss is still the same? who still doesn't respect you? still always insults you on a high level? to the point it is personal? Is there anyone here who can relate? What do you think is the problem? FYI there's a history of fast transition of people. When I say fast transition, I mean, its really fast. People always tend to send a resignation few weeks after conducting meeting with him.
ОтветитьI offered solutions when asked, but then nothing happened, boss didn’t follow through. I asked for help to get visual training and other coworkers didn’t do what they were told to help me succeed. I would let them know when projects were completed without any deadlines, would get praised, but also micromanaged for no reason. What about places who don’t set you up for success even when you do the things in your video?
ОтветитьI love this video so much that I will be coming back to watch it everyday.
ОтветитьI have tenor , and I stay in my lane , I respect my management person , but she is hot and cold . So my responses are “ok, yes , it will be done “ because if you bucks up or be bold and respectful, she will put you on her radar ! Can’t go higher up, she has bullied him as well.
