It is very natural that related ( both Persian and Bengali are Indo European languages) languages have similar words. Direct word similarities are due to Persian loan words in Bengali. However at least 60 percent Bengali vocabulary ( of Sanskrit origin) are indirectly related to Persian. Example SARDAR mears Chief or Leader in Persian. In Bengali ( India) and Hindi it is SIRDHAR which is pure Sanskrit. SAR means Head. SIR means Head. DAR means holder, DHAR means holder. So SARDAR/SIRDHAR means holder of head.

Great number of Arabic words have made their way into the Bengali language after the Islamic invasion of Bengal. Most of the words compared in video are Arabic words not Persian/Farsi and not Bengali.
Baba is arabic Pitah is sanskrit and persian
Mamma/ammi is Mata/ Amba or just Ma
Kushti is Malla Yuddham (as it is not a sport but a martial art design to tear joints. Very few know this form, so kushti or pehalawani is taught nowadays)
Rang in Farsi is actually of Sanskrit origin.
Karkhana is karyalaya or karjoloy. This word is interesting as it is a mix of arabic and sanskrit! Kar is sanskrit root for karya meaning work, khana means place in arabic. But in sanskrit place is 'alaya'. So karyalaya is sanskrit and karkhana is arabic and sanskrit!
However, bengali has roots in sanskrit and ardha magadhi, and old Persian language and avestan is very very close to sanskrit. These words compared in video are not also persian at all, they are actually arabic and have come into being in Farsi/Persian after Islamic invasion of Persia, and then came into india after Islamic invasion of india, thus in Bengali. Few old Persian words vs Sankrit
Gatha = Gatha = song/ Hymn
Anahita =pure in sanskrit it means full of grace.
Sura = pure in sanskrit same meaning.
Aspa = Ashwa in Sanskrit meaning horse.
Thus a very large chunk of Farsi vocabulary is arabic. Similarity in non arabised Persian and indic languages can be found through sanskrit as Arabic is alien to the roots of both.
So this video is misleading because it compares arabic words in Persian language with arabic words in bengali language. Thus it becomes Arabic vs Arabic!!!!!! 🙉🙉🙉

Actually in bengali it is not Ayna , it is darpan but people don't use it. Perhaps this similarity may be because of Turkic invasion of Bengal in 13 and 14 th century . These Turkic people introduced many Persian words in here. Even if u notice Bengali Hindu and Muslim in same locality , they speak different way . I know this cause I am an Indian bengali whole ancestors migrated this side at the time of partition of India . Also Kushti is not bengali but the bengali version is Mollojudho.
