If the refs weren't going to blow the whistle and you stop play going after someone following a clean hit you should be out of the game. If the play is getting blown dead due to injury or penalty do you thing. Otherwise take the number and pick a spot later in the game.

One of the worst part of modern hockey is the obligatory fight after a clean legal hit. It's a contact sport, you know? That means there's sometimes going to be contact. After 20+ years, it's clear the NHL cannot police the players. Time to bring back the enforcers. They were part of the game from its inception for a reason. Taking them away has ruined the sport.

As a smaller player, i never got angry when i got lit up because typically i was able to use my positioning and low center of gravity to avoid it but there were a few where i just got messed up. Part of the game.
