Is the NEW 2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee a BETTER luxury SUV than a Lexus GX 460?

Would buy a well equipped JGC overland with the off road package over the Lexus and pretty much anything else.

Looks much better than Lexus 460 like 10 years advance in looking and technology

I have a 2022 Summit Reserve and love it. I got the Hemi so it roars down the road. Too bad they no longer offer the V8 on the 2023 models. I got one of the last ones with all the extra stuff. The only complaint is that I have not figured out how to connect anything thru the HDMI cable to the passenger seat screen.

Does anybody know if there will be a new track hawk with this new body style ?

Hi Raiti's Team, It is great to know this brand is not regressing, but is Jeep willing and capable of over-engineer their automobiles (parts, systems), like Toyota and Lexus? I would love to see that uncompromising passion, dedication, relentless commitment, especially having the name "Jeep". Jeep should be Military Grade, extremely reliable, lasting decades.

If you buy not lease this over a Lexus GX you either don't know any better or you should have your head examined.🤔🤫🤭🤪

Pretty sure the sway bar disconnect is only available on the Trailhawk. Otherwise, the Grand Cherokee is a fulltime 4x4 system.

I don't need all that computer stuff. I'm not reliant on it like the new generations. I can navigate well on my own. I like my cars old school analog.

I think I would get this exact colorway. Looks nice on the Jeep. I know this suv is expensive to maintain and there will be lots of repairs like every 6-12 months, but you never have to worry about getting stuck in the snow or mud.

Would rather get the 20” with more sidewall. Way more comfortable ride. Heck 18” rims are the best if you live in the city

Looks, comfort and tech may be great but can you really trust the reliability and resale value over a Lexus? Sure if you keep your vehicles for 1-5 years you may be alright but what about the majority who need something for 5-15 years!

Cant wait to get one.! I have been considering a GLE as my future SUV, but, this new design of the Grand keeps calling my attention. The interior look amazing and the new rugged body with the Alcantara interior look high and proud of an American made. I would love if you can give a review on the V6, it would be a great option to know.

Two days ago I ordered a 2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee Summit Reserve Loaded, w the 5.7L Hemi.

The 4xe is the move

The Lexus GX 460 may be old school, but its reliability is really no match. I have been driving the 2020 Lexus GX 460 since Christmas 2019 for 30+ miles daily. For over 2.5 years, I have only changed oil, no other issue at all. One time I ran over a fricking ladder in the middle of a highway at 80 mph at night. It was loud. I was so freaked out something might've been broken. I pulled over and checked the car. I didn't really spot or feel anything weird. But I took the car to the mechanic next day for inspection to be sure. I was amazed. Not a problem at all. The tires, the wheels, the suspension, everything else were in perfect shape. There was only a scratch mark under the running board. That's it.

Not sure about this new Jeep GC, but i am getting one at the end of this year, will see how dependable this one is.
