ОтветитьMy main and only complaint with this game is the lots and lots of pages you have to read in order to get the lore ..but what an amazing game and story it is ...game of the year for me
ОтветитьSo what do you think happend to the main protagonist from the bunker when he final escaped, the German soldiers shot him?
ОтветитьI hate that The Bunker is a part of the Amnesia series where we know the supernatural is real. This game would’ve worked so much better if we never truly got to know whether this is actually all real or just a man either hallucinating on his deathbed or going insane from PTSD.
Honestly I feel like knowing everything is real kind of ruins the game... still a great game but making it a part of the Amnesia series was a huge mistake IMO.
I don't want to be that guy but i so predicted the ending
ОтветитьThis is a good game. This story needs a sequel.
ОтветитьI just finished the game and this is an excellent video to watch. Thanks
ОтветитьThis game is one of my favorite horror games ever, it surprised me how much fun this game packed
ОтветитьGreat video and explanation choom! I loved this game, just beat it last night:
ОтветитьNot sure if its connected but at the end of the game Spoilers btw when you have to run around avoiding or dropping the beast into the pit, if you jump into the pit yourself you will survive the fall but be in complete darkness. You will then hear that familiar sound of The Shadow and start seeing red. Implying that The Shadow is just chilling down in the pit for some reason. Maybe theres an Orb nearby or below.
ОтветитьToussaint must be an ancestor to Terry Akers…
ОтветитьHoping between Amnesiac by Radiohead and this is fun
ОтветитьI went to the pillbox quite late into my playthrough, I had been stuck in the bunker hiding from the beast for hours before finally making it to the pillbox. That entire experience when climbing to see the light thinking youre free then being shot at by the german sniper completely threw me off. I had completely forgotten that there was a war going on (despite the continual bombing of the bunker) it made me pause for a second thinking that those soldiers have no idea that im stuck in here with a monster, they think im there to shoot back at them. A very well used set piece.
ОтветитьGreat video. And I think the developers did an excellent job with this game. After Rebirth I was very sceptical. The relief when you see the freedom/outside (from the pillbox) is quickly set in contrast with the dangers of the battlefield when you are being shot at. Occasionaly you hear and feel the ground shake from artillery fire, which further highlights the isolation in the bunker. On the surface, there is action and hundreds of soldiers, while you are down there alone in the dark with that monster. Genius devs
Ответитьme and my friend played through this together and it was amazing, me and my mate are a lot older so we don’t scare very easily and you can’t bet this game had us jumping and screaming 😂i’ve actually not felt fear like that in a game before, and then the story? 10/10 i want a second instalment maybe the stalker made his way too a german bunker. but finding out Lambart was the stalker was great we had no idea untill we grabbed the note and the rabbit teddy and then it clicked! what an amazing game GIVE ME ANOTHER ONE
ОтветитьWHY IS THE START SONG BREAKING BAD????
ОтветитьUnless I'm much mistaken the madman removing his own eyes seems to be a nod to SOMA which features an equally insane individual who rips out his own eyes in order to "see" clearly.
ОтветитьAnother thing to note is that the Pool that was drank from most likely appeared due to the very happening of the world war. The somme especially was a focal point of pain, torture, depsiar and madness.
The men who suffered through the war suffered through a fate worse than hell. This probably caused the otherworld to merge with Earth and protentially supercharge a pool of blood into vitaea by osmis.
This would also explain why the liquid simply drips down the walls. The ground is saturated in torment charged blood.
That's just a theory but it would make sense with the universe's logic.
I like to mention that in the tunnels, you can sometimes see shadow people walking around
And also after opening the tunnel, youll start to hear whispers as well
the volume is a mess
ОтветитьI really wish you could save the German prisoner and I don’t mean by shutting the gate or distracting the monster from killing. I mean REALLY saving him by escaping the Bunker with him. Closing the gate or distracting the monster from does nothing but prolong the inevitable for him. You can argue that the Germans will most likely infiltrate the Bunker and find him but that’s assuming he wasn’t found by the many rats in the bunker or the monster didn’t get him while you traversing other areas of the bunker.
ОтветитьI wonder if there was also a possible connection between the members of the bunker and the soldiers of the French Foreign legion stationed in Algeria.
ОтветитьWere bunkers this well constructed?
ОтветитьYou find the toy rabbit by the crater where Lambert was, along with his dog tag. If you throw the rabbit at the Beast before the final battle, it will take the rabbit down to its nest where you can grab it again.
ОтветитьI love how specifically WWI horror games show that even if you escape hell, you end up in hell all over again
ОтветитьHAPPY Halloween 🎃
ОтветитьI love 💘 game 🎮 series
ОтветитьIt’s such a devastating story, mainly because Henri caused it, he challenged Augustin and rigged the game, letting him fall into the pit and providing him the water that would turn him into the beast we see in the game. The fact the way we learn about it though is even sadder. Henris head trauma makes him lose a significant amount of his memory, which leads him to slowly realise through notes from both lambert and himself that he did this to his friend and the rest and soldiers. I can only imagine the amount of guilt Henri feels as he discovers his past sins that he had no clue about.
ОтветитьVPN is NOT a security Insurance.
ОтветитьSpoiler for Amnesia series!!!
Each Amnesia chapter shows tragedies in lengths of protagonists' needs:
- Dark Descent - how far can someone go in order to save him/herself?
- Justine - how far can someone go to entertain him/herself?
- Machine for Pigs - how far can someone go in order to avoid grim future?
- Rebirth - how far can someone go when wishing not the story (tragedy) repeat itself?
- Bunker - how far can someone go when pushed by guilt?
now that you have finished all the current amnesia games what are the chances of you covering the penumbra series?
ОтветитьI wondered if there was a connection between the Fournier in Bunker and Fournier in Justine. I haven’t played Bunker and it’s been ages since I’ve played Justine, so there may not be one at all.
ОтветитьThe name "Lore & Order" is seriously underrated, especially coming from somebody with a British accent. The way the Brits say 'law' sounds like "lore" already so the name is effectively a pun on Law & Order, also adding that layer with the accent, while also being self descriptive as to what the series is about. Pure genius, genuinely.
ОтветитьDude... I swear every intro with your voice just reminds me of "Hello, and welcome to Brodual... today we look at skyrim mods..."
ОтветитьIt is a truly horrifying tale… playing as a Frenchman. It still haunts me to this day.
ОтветитьSometimes i feel like im the only one who likes rebirth, its not like the other games and its not my favorite but i enjoy what they did with it. Drawings instead of notes to guide you in the right direction was a fun change. It was a lot more story-driven which didnt bother me, i like stories, and it gave a lot of lore to the whole amnesia series. There are some critiques about it like Tasi talking the majority of the game which takes you out of it but it wasnt the worst thing in the world, plus i talk to myself all the time. I hate silence, so tasi and i related on filling the silence with talking to ourselves lol. The storyline was pretty cool too and i liked getting to make a choice at the end, i played both endings and both were interesting, though i like the fight scene when you take your baby and run away.
Tldr; I love what it added to the series, the little blanks it filled, and the changes they made to the design of the game to spice up the series a bit. I had fun, though i think dark decent will always be my favorite
Swear it’s called the battle of verdun not verdune
ОтветитьHarry! Got into your vids sometime near the end of last year as some supplemental viewing after replaying outlast and outlast 2. Very awesome seeing your channel grow and im always excited to see a new upload pertaining to horror games i enjoy
ОтветитьDespite the game being short its really good thats the only issue i had with it it is sad how short it is. But its definitely worth playing it
ОтветитьHow did Henri and Lamber get out of the crater when you can find it again in the gameplay but it can’t be escaped?
ОтветитьThey tortured there own soldiers?
ОтветитьWhy do the officers punish people for talking about the tunnels?
Ответить.
ОтветитьGranny 2 is on its way. Trash game.
Ответить"Don't drink the water. They put something in it to make you forget."
ОтветитьI just binged and experienced all the amnesia games and I find the world freaking fascinating. Very Lovecraftian with all the madness and other worlds…
