The very fact that it took the queen 5 days to say anything says so much about the contempt and hatred and complete lack of respect for HRH Princess Diana I firmly believe this was payback for the Martin Bashir interview and for publicly spilling the tea on the royal family. I think they also hated how truly kind and amazing she was she made them all look bad. She was a very real threat to their popularity and position and they didn’t want her power and influence to grow.
