alice madness returns, wow what an amazing game, it is available on gamepass, so anyone who hasnt played it yet, should, its much better than the current games we are getting nowadays

I've played 2 on this list, better than most of the lists that are out there where it ranks games

Mad Max is one of my favorite games, car games combined with RPG. To say she was underrated is an understatement. It's a pity it came out on the same day as Metal Gear Solid. Because maybe more people would love this game and we'd get a sequel.
This War of Mine. It is a must-read for "playing" in Poland when learning the Polish language.
Deadpool is no longer playable as it has been removed from the library (at least on PS3) and used copies are starting to get very expensive, so much so that it's not worth investing in an average game. Only for Deadpool fans, the die-hard ones.

I played Mad Max and This War of Mine. Both incredibly underrated games. I usually get bored and burn out from open world games, but i completed everything in Mad Max.

One day they will add alice to ps5, until then I will cry

One game that got my attention recently was the Steam survival game "Disfigure". Not the best graphics, but good gameplay especially when you chain the upgrades. Also, "Forgotten Anne" and "Ni no Kuni Wrath of the White Witch" deserve some consideration as well. Honorable mention to the Ys series. I've played Ys 1 and 2 and Origins, and was blown away by the soundtrack.

Loved Alice madness returns. Played it again recently on Xbox series x. Still great. Great art style.

After paying $100 for early release Starfield and hating it, I'm looking for alternative type games. I'm going to give some of these a try.

Mad Max was such a great game, I had sooo much fun 100% the game. Will definetly revisit this game now.

idk i feel like everyone played Black mesa or Call of juarez, lol, i'd expect games like Darkwood or Pathologic on these lists.

I've never played it, but does anybody else feel like this Echo game is very much comparable to Returnal?

I loved Deadpool but to be honest. its Level Design and repetitive enemies were HORRIBLE! The character and the story and the fighting system is what carried me to finish it till the end. Nice list though couldn't have anticipated COJ Gunslinger in the end!

I doubt we are sick of remakes. I would love a Call of Juarez Gunslinger remake---platinum trophy this time please!

Single player will always be the greatest of all time, but i genuinely wish we had more co-op mmo options with content being available to offline modes. Instead of dlc, just make a sequel game! For example, saints row 2 online was PHENOMENAL for having co op campaign and optional pvp. Free roam, lived in customized world. It was great.

Binary Domain was definitely great, but it's basically a less fun version of Vanquish.

Binary domain was so damn good, anyone that didn't play it really missed out. It really did have a great story... Too bad they don't have it in ps4

Thanks for bringing up Alpha Protocol. I liked it despite its shortcomings, but it is not available on Steam anymore. Not sure where someone could get it nowadays, if it is not already slumbering hidden in the library somewhere like a forgotten bottle of wine.
Another game, which is great even today is Singularity.

dose anyone else remember the publisher for deadpool pulling all their unsold stock from stores and removing it from steam? something about the rights or something. im not sure if you can actually still but it on steam or the like.

Another amazing title from Sega that was overlooked in the same time frame as Binary Domain (which was an awesome game!) Is Vanquish! Absolutely amazing single player 3rd person shooter! I highly recommend checking it out if you havent

Mad Max is cool but gets very repetitive ..it has that open world problem of being too long and would have been better if they streamlined it a bit. Worth a play though

The Forgotten City is a must-play if you like dialogue.

Mad Max was an excellent game! It just boils my blood that I can’t ever go back and platinum the game due to the one online trophy I didn’t get back in the day. One of the best examples of an entirely single player game forcing unnecessary online trophies on you. It should be patched out or made available offline!

They should rename the list "The 13 WORST single player games you never played ... you never will"
