My current gaming PC was built in 2015, 6700K (OC to 5ghz)... I've been trying to get my hands on a GPU for months now to replace my 1080 hoping I can wait until the gen 12 release. I don't see that happening any time soon. Not a good time to build a system... woe is me, woe is me.

I've just bought an Intel i9 10900.
It was faster & cheaper in reality than the equivalent Ryzen which I was intending to buy here in the UK.

The cheaper prices of Rocket Lake is driven by AMD's competitiveness with their 5000 class processors...so, even though the news is about Intel, AMD's imprint and presence is all over this.

why i7-11700 T is $323 same as i7-11700 even though its performance is lower and TDP is 35W ...shouldnt it be cheaper than i7-11700F???

All this is irrelevant if no one has any stock. I haven't even managed to get hold of any AMD 5000 series CPUs without being ripped off. So for me if its in stock at its MSRP ill buy it.

Its the first time in history that I have had enough money to build the best PC i can ever build but no parts to buy lol.
