What's your favorite DAW? Any you'd want to see me stumble around in? Either way, my mind is open to new horizons and I'd love to know your thoughts!
ОтветитьYou have a great personality for videos like this!
ОтветитьFL Kank for life!
Ответить"Nor does my DAW" - cracked me up!
ОтветитьThis was entertaining! I'm a beginner music producer myself and your humor matches mine almost exactly - could see this being how I'd react too! 😂😂
ОтветитьFL Studio company should watch it and learn! They seem extremely appealing because of life updates and the easy pattern drawing but.... It actually adds literally another dimension you have to think of instead of having just the linear playlist as the core. And NO it is not more intuitive for new users and if it is for producers then they need to rethink. Thanks for your sacrifice to make the video!
ОтветитьYour frustration and clumsiness with FL is exactly how I was when I tried Ableton. I understand.
I really enjoy this series. I enjoy your honesty and humor.
FlStudio is definetly not an obvious or intuitive DAW at all.
ОтветитьIs reaper most easy to naturally grasp when u come from more general daw like ableton ?
Seems he was struggling more
As an experienced Fl studio user I don’t know why ur suffering was so satisfying 😂 great video bro
ОтветитьLmfao this is exactly how I started on fl studio... good to know i was being logical in the beginnings
ОтветитьAbleton always looks like an MS Excel spreadsheet to me.
ОтветитьI love how I knew the "informative FL tutorial video" was gonna be In The Mix. That man should straight up come with the software he is such an invaluable part of the learning process.
ОтветитьIf Ableton and FL were mashed together and added their unique features together then we would need any other daw , i used FL first for years and then got abelton and i wilo say fl is definitely more intuitive , Ableton took some more figuring it ...but at the same its easier in some ways also Abletons live capabiliies are insane and it can be used a tool in many many ways ....
What we need is Ableloops
we need a part 2
ОтветитьI've been an FL user for almost 5 years now, and I tried my hand at Ableton and couldn't get a good grasp of it. I understand the difficult learning curve, but once you get used to FL, it's a powerful piece of software.
Ответитьyour reactions are hilarious! 🤣😂 seeing first time fl users reaction is priceless
Ответить"will it tell me what it is?" yeah that status in the top left is not very attention calling.
ОтветитьFor as far as I can remember, FL is the DAW that a lot of folks online recommend for beginners and looking back at it, I heavily disagree. DAWs like Ableton and Cubase were regarded as the harder ones to learn for some reason when at least in those DAWs, things are linear and straight forward.
Ответитьi heave never seen so stupid/lamer guy who do not know the rules of program and try make drums path in FL with kicks in patterns (and making video of that) - good luck .Make some lessons first , it is not ableton, the rules are different. Both programs are very cool in their specific way. greets. I stopped in 5.29 ...ufffff
ОтветитьThat was painful to watch 😂
ОтветитьII remember "Fruity Loops" ha ha, long time a go :)
Ответитьnice
Ответитьi'd love to see you trying out some FL plugins, like Harmor, Sytrus and some of the FX plugins, like Gross Beat, Maximus, Effector
Ответитьthis is painful to watch
ОтветитьI feel like the difference between Ableton and FL is that Ableton is a lot more automated and kinda holds your hand. With FL you have to route the mixer yourself, there are no distinct Audio/MIDI/Automation tracks, anything can go anywhere in the arrangement window. In fact you can probably make a complete song using only one arrangement track, I wouldn't recommend it, but it would certainly work.
ОтветитьFl studio is so ugly. It’s weird as fuck
ОтветитьLoved fl but I switched to Ableton yesterday and it’s night and day in regards to work flow, sampling, and manipulating audio. I’m never going back to fl😩
ОтветитьBeen using FL since FL Studio 8, and i discovered some new shortcuts and tricks yesterday... It can do more...learning something new everyday.
ОтветитьDive into Adobe audition
Ответитьthis was painful but entertaining. Love your positivity. FLs openness and pattern based workflow takes a while to truly master especially with all the shortcuts
ОтветитьWatching this is like me trying to use Abelton lol
ОтветитьYou can write in arrangement mode or pattern mode. You can also drag instruments right onto tracks and they get assigned to the mixer and the channel rack. FL Studio is a playground that you can use in a number of ways...
Ответитьanyone who wear this headphones deserve a medal true chads using m50x
ОтветитьDo you use Ableton and Logic. I use Logic but I want to start performing live electronic music. Do you suggest that I get Ableton 11 and use both for different purposes?
ОтветитьFor me, someone who thinks FL Studio is the most self-explanatory DAW out there, this was painful to watch lol
Ответитьplay the demo song.
ОтветитьU remind me of somebody that I used to know
ОтветитьMy Favorite DAW Is FL. I Began Using Version 3, I'm On 20. I Love It!!!!!
ОтветитьThis was my face the whole time 😁
Good video though 👊
I’m starting to love seeing people who never used FL studio before try it for the first time ever. It’s always a good time. 😂
ОтветитьWhy did your fl open that way??? When opening fl for the very first time it starts with the channel rack.
ОтветитьOmg man I appreciate this editing so much cuz it’s exactly like my style :D
(Totally different genre though)
When you played the kick in the song instead of pattern
ОтветитьYou picked very good tutorial, Michael from In The Mix is a great teacher
ОтветитьHilarious! And helpful :)
