Honestly Jessica was one of the best back then right up there with Christina Aguilera! But she just came too late in the game and it was hard to get noticed. She did get fame and was recognized especially when she and nick got together but truly singing wise she was unbelievable. Like so talented. Their is one song that is so beautiful yet so challenging to sing 🎤 because she real can sing at a really high pitch. 😮she has always blew mind with her fantastic voice. I really hope that she makes a comeback! She really should make one because all the competition that she had before just isn’t there she really could show people what real singing looks like.

The problem with Jessica Simpson is that, while this song is bop, she wasn't a Britney. She was more of a Christina. They should have empathized her voice more because she can definitely sing.

To be honest, I like Jessica Simpson and this song. I just think it's unfair that her management tried to shape her into a copy of Britney Spears when it clearly didn't suit her and I bet she wasn't comfortable with that, hence why people compare her to Britney as well. A copy is always gonna be underrated, you just can't be someone else no matter how hard you try. Her management should've given her the opportunity to be herself and do her own thing, maybe then her music career would have been more successful. I mean, she definitely COULD sing and she was pretty too. Personally, I never even thought she was "copying" Britney until I read the comments of other people, but what's sad is that it's her management who tried to force someone else's image onto her. She wasn't an icon like Britney or Christina Aguilera at the time, but ironically though, she's a billionaire today thanks to her own fashion line. Good for her that she left the toxic music industry, and honestly, no wonder. Now, something for haters... Just because she couldn't dance as heavy as Britney did, doesn't mean she was a bad dancer or that she was worth any less as an artist. Personally, I like the aesthetic of this music video. I think she looks gorgeous here and that she did a great job. There is no need for hate or comparison, though I understand where it's coming from, as I stated above.
I can just say I'm glad she made it in her own way, doing what she's comfortable with and what she thinks suits her best.
