Idk why but at some point I just imagined the drivers to be some kind of Ernie from Harry Potter ?!

I can only imagine how much fun he had on those snow courses. I’ve only run my 94 in the Canadian winters but it was so much fun giving it a scandi flick and knowing you’re in complete control. When in doubt you literally did throttle out these cars, because you point the wheel where you want it and give it some balls and it keeps going that way almost like handling a boat on water. The AWD wouldn’t get stuck even in 2 feet of Canadian winter snow when it was up to the hood… Still started in -30 not plugged in either.

I may be biased owning 2 of these cars now but I feel like Subaru only went backwards with the performance. The earliest engines in these cars (obviously built to all fuck,) are still used by prodrive in the Isle of Man and Nurburgring cars. The later ej207 is no slouch either of course. All while weighing the same as any “civic with a laptop” kid. I won’t dare in mine, but throw an extra 100hp at the 207 and you have the same power to weight as the hellcat and can apply 100% of it to the road in any condition…
