Create Transparency in After Effects with Luma Matte | Adobe Creative Cloud

Is Adobe giving up on After Effects or something? Like it's barely changed in the decade I've been using it... people have been asking for feature updates for years and they never get implemented. All you add in is things like Content Aware Fill, which look cool in your press videos but we all know never actually works. So why is Adobe refusing to modernise AE in any meaningful way?

You can also use Colorama, select grayscale, and you have full control over how much black/white you have, and you can clamp it down from there

So it basically works like a mask in photoshop but reversed?? Like black reveals and white hides...
