The Brazil ending reminds me of being in the dark by myself and imagining what "monsters" are there and using my blanket to hide myself and think that I am playing outside with the sun out whilst my heart beats fast and I get tired and then just fall asleep
ОтветитьThis game reminds me of hello neighbor
Ответитьsomething else about monty: he went from the most powerful out of the main 4 in the base game to the weakest in this the dlc
ОтветитьI really liked ruins gameplay and the way it implemented the mimic and I hope it becomes the nexed major antagonist instead of another form of william afton again. I just wish I could have played it without having to play/pay for security breach because I did not like that game personally. Also I think it would be cool if while in the AR mode you could use cameras to nearby places like in the OG fnaf games, maybe it would even attract the entity faster. idk how that would work or if it would be balanced or if it would make any sense, it’s just an idea.
Sorry for the long comment lol
I don't think Glitchtrap is the Mimic... They act differently and have different abilities. No where is it shown that Mimic can possess people like Glitchtrap. Also, Glitchtrap is very patient and methodical, while the Mimic is impatient and impulsive. I really, REALLY don't think Glitchtrap is the Mimic. Also the Entity is not MXES. Helpi states that the Entity is an anomaly that's not supposed to be there. Helpi wouldn't react this way if the Entity was just part of the security program. Maybe I'm wrong about this, but all of these seem fairly obvious to me so I feel like I'm taking crazy pills when people confidently say Glitchtrap is the Mimic and refer to the Entity as MXES.
ОтветитьSeeing how good Ruin was, Im willing to bet we were supposed to get that for SB but for whatever reasons during production it didnt happen - also considering how good Help Wanted was (imo). Im no game developer, I dont know what goes on behind the scenes, but someone probably pulled the strings in the wrong direction for SB.
ОтветитьThe DLC is boring game in my opinion. There is nothing that fun about it, just some puzzles and escape sequences that aren't neither scary or challenging. It's just a walking simulator where sometimes you diverge from the main path to get exposition or "puzzles", giving the illusion of depth when in reallity there is none...
ОтветитьBroooo I love u for the Luigis Mansion music in this masterpiece of a video
Ответитьruin born afton
ОтветитьThe biggest thing that I took from Ruin is that it proves that Real Wool is fully capable of providing a genuinely good FNAF game in this first person adventure horror style, and that the issues with Security Breach are all simply due to them making wrong decisions and trying to do way too much with a franchise they clearly have a lot of passion for.
ОтветитьTerraria music in the background your so based
Ответитьgod dang was not expecting to get hit with that terraria soundtrack lmaooo
ОтветитьWhy does dude sound like mattpat
Ответитьi think ruin would’ve been a better base game if it was fleshed out a bit more and longer. SB should've been made into i shorter, prequel DLC in the end. kappa
ОтветитьWait so that still wasn't Gregory at the end? I thought at the end, it was the real Gregory basically sacrificing Cassie so that there NO possible chance for the Mimic to escape-
Edit: I should've let the video end lol. It is Gregory.
I hope in their next game they try and raise their expectations again. While Ruin is much MUCH better in the story department, I feel like the base game was so much more creative in it's gameplay sequences (even if janky on execution). I feel like there's a much stronger connection to the animatronics as antagonists in base game as well where after you fight back bit and rip a part of them out (eyes, claws, voice box etc) your gameplay relationship changed with them aswell. I honestly would love to see them tackle a security breach style game again but hone in their focus.
Ответитьthe reason why freddy was agressive to cassie is because it isnt the freddy we met in the original security breach, its a prototype, because there's a word saying "PROTOTYPE" on his foot.
i dont know why he's agressive though, but my theory is that the afton virus or whatever that made the animatronics agressive in the og game, accidentally applied to the prototype and not the final version.
its wierd to me that people are taking issues with enjoying flawed games when like some of what are considered the best PC games of all time, Stalker, fallout new vegas, VTM bloodlines, are all buggy flawed messes. Like yeah there is something to be said about how people release unfinished games that requires day 1 patches and shit to fix instead of just delaying a game and letting it be done before releasing but its also like, idk.
ОтветитьI feel quite bad for Cassie tho cuz she's going to be the reason for the upcoming chaos that Mimic will do to Fazbear franchise
ОтветитьTheory is that it was the mimic who dropped the elevator. Due to audio heard in the game files and the mic distortion before "Gregory" drops you. And we seen that the Mimic isn't opposed to using others voices, we hear it using Gregory's voice almost the entire game basically. So Theory is that the Mimic hacked its way into the speaker while Gregory speaks, ends his dialogue for him, and makes the elevator fall, pushing the blame to Gregory for the fall which could cause different events in the future between Gregory with Freddy and Cassie with Roxy.
ОтветитьHavent played it yet. But seeing yhe video it seems like they put more effort into yhe dlc then the base game. Really hope it runs vetter then the base game as well. Cuz on the ps4 the frame rate is just garbage
ОтветитьThat's what happens when the devs are given enough time to polish their game. It ends up being good.
ОтветитьIm glad the mimic scene was explained 3 times lol, cool video though!
ОтветитьIt's AC Syndicate all over again...
ОтветитьMy main nitpick with this DLC is that the jumpscares are good, but they end too early. What I mean by this is when it is implied that an animatronic is about to bite your head off, the animatronic could go over the camera with a scream as a smooth transition between your demise and your revival, but it instead kind of prematurely ends when the animatronic leans back to kill you.
This flaw in my opinion is the most noticable in the mini Music Man jumpscare, where it's revealed that their mouths are full of sharp cogs and blades and is implied that they are going to kill you using them, but the end of the jumpscare ends when their heads lean back to gain momentum, when it could easily show the Music Men go into the camera while the screen fades to black and the game wouldn't lose any family friendliness because of it.
So burntrap isn't glitchtrap..... So why he can hack Freddy?
Im confussed.
And no mimic can't be burntrap becose you can literaly see flesh under the costume
when did Phisom broke into pastra house
ОтветитьMe, every few minutes: ...Is that Hiveswap music, or the music Hiveswap music was inspired by-
Ответитьi love the jumpscares here because she fights back
Ответитьhe sounds the same as matpat
ОтветитьPastra development lol. He’s finally tired of people breaking into his house 💀
ОтветитьRuin reminds us that this franchise can be disturbing. Cassie is just a child wanting to help her friend, and instead she is tormented and lured to her death(?) Unknowingly dismantling all the safeguards along the way that could have saved her. Gregory seemed unfazed by a lot of the events in SB, and even took joy in dismantling the animatronics. Cassie has voice lines and screams to portray her fear and discomfort. She also genuinely cares for the animatronics so on top of the fear, there is also the dread of not wanting to hurt them - but having no other choice. Deactivating Roxy and then Cassie quietly crying in the elevator is the most emotionally poignant scene in the entire franchise.
ОтветитьSomething else that can alert you to Monty, I think, after you go through the kitchen you can hear Monty growling and roaring.
ОтветитьWhy does the story make no sence?
Like, how did they even find mimic, and why did they use it? (It was developed in the 80s, and the game is about 50 years ahead! It could yeasily gone missing or broke down. Also, technologies from the 80s are really old, so new system would be much better)
And why is mimic mimicing the springtrap? Even if he saw Wiliam, he has also senn lots of other people and robots
Me with my brother me having him try security breach base game
Brother: you say this is a great game
Me:……. I said I like the game
Your voice reminds me of matpat
ОтветитьYou mean... A horrible DLC, for a horrible game?
ОтветитьSmall note note: the Freddy Ruin has "Prototype" written on one of its feet, suggesting that while this is A ruined Freddy, it's not OUR Papa Bear
ОтветитьYou brought up foreshadowing early on and the only instance of it that I noticed in my first playthrough was pretty early on, but wasn't mentioned in the video.
When you first use cameras to distract Monty (a mechanic which to my memory is relevant in exactly one other level oof), Cassie's voice plays over loudspeakers, which is explained by HELPI as artificially generated, based off samples of her voice. I was streaming it to a friend on discord at the time and nonchalantly predicted "oh, so Gregory's voice isn't real and this is a trap" only to find out several hours later that I hit the nail on the head. I also personally didn't like that they made his voice become more obviously fake as the game progressed and didn't think it made much sense, as it was more convincing when the mimic is first revealed, only giving up the jig after multiple attempts at convincing Cassie it was Gregory.
EDIT: Though other people have provided some good explanations, the Brazil ending on top of its looming depression, is also a reference to Brazil (1985), in which the protagonist is given a false happy ending, living a fantasy where he escapes the city the film takes place in with a friend, when in reality, he's tied to a chair designed for torture. His allies abandon him when they realise he's gone mad, smiling and repeating "Aquarela do Brasil" (watercolor Brazil?) to himself over and over.
I knew this wasnt pastra, pastra had a different kind of script than usual, so I was like ohh white boy killem
ОтветитьMy biggest issue with Ruin is the repetition of puzzles.
There are just 3, node deactivation, anomaly containment on cams and powering conduits...
Those alone aren't that bad, but we needed more...
the dlc was bad what, it literally makes no sense
ОтветитьThat Banjo music distracted the hell out of me. Lol
ОтветитьYou genuinely sound like a version of matpat that doesnt overhype and clickbait everything. Sub earned
ОтветитьWeirdly enough this DLC reminds me a lot of bioshock 1 and the way it effectively creates horror in its environments. The twist at the end is also very similar with both manipulating the player character into what we thought was safety but is actually the main villain.
ОтветитьGregory didn’t realize that Friends Never Abandon Friends
Ответить
