Kind of a twisted plot. 29 years old and a 17 year old. If the roles were reversed people would lose their minds. it would be a dateline special and not a sitcom.

I do hope the other coopers (hell even Sheldon) make appearances or at least get referenced. Especially after what Georgie said in The Big Bang Theory about holding everything together.

I just think it's funny that Emily Osment is costaring in a show with a guy named Montana. Like... who specific and rare could that be.

I like Georgie and Mandy but I don't know if they can handle having their own show. It definitely won't be as popular as young Sheldon

At key moments they should definitely consider having flashbacks with George Sr. lessons since George Jr is on his own fatherhood/life journey.

This show looks good. But what's perplexing is how these shows have turn into basically dramedies. Big Bang used to be a pure comedy, with some emotion sprinkled in. It was beat for beat laughs. This seems more akin to Ted Lasso or Abbott Elementary, a nice dramedy of mostly light entertainment and drama writing and only some comedy sprinkled.

Can't wait to see this show on clips on TT. I haven't seen TBBT or YS but I've seen many clips on TT

I love Georgie's character, and I do understand why this is the spin-off they went with because there are several unfinished arcs and plots for certain characters.

But ...

I would've loved to see Sheldon in college, or a series focusing on Sheldon as a father of two non-geniuses.

I do understand that both actors playing Sheldon are done with the character though. There's not a lot of love, and a lot of disdain, for character actors in America. Not to mention that many people take their hate for a character out on the actors.

It's a shame though

Here's what they do if they are sticking to the cannon him and mandy divorce (everybodys sad). georgie moves on strugling to adapt to co-parenting, finds another girl marries her divorces her, does some soul searching georgie and mandy get married (again), then gets divorced (again) but realise they work better as a divorced couple and stay together.(everybodys happy)

It's amazing seeing Emily Osment get a second wind. Usually you fizzle out after Disney Channel and fade into obscure roles but she's getting her own show as a woman over 30.

It will be sad to see this show bomb. Live studio audience? It seems like people don’t like that much anymore. They don’t like hearing other people laugh. I don’t have a problem with it myself. But I don’t see this working.

Why is it called Georgie and Mandy's first marriage? do they break up and remarry at some point....I watched big bang regularly and young Sheldon sporadically but I don't remember a breakup......
