عَلى الْمَسيـحِ قُـوّتِـي أُلْقـي رَجائِـي لا سِواهْ

فـي ظُلْمَةِ القَبْرِ ثَوَى مَعْ أَنَّهُ نُورُ الحَيـاهْ
وقامَ هازِمًا قِوَى الْمَوْتِ الرَّهيبِ بِقِواهْ
نِيـرُ الخَـطـا ولَعْنَتُـهْ زالا بِفَضْــلِ غَـلْـبَـتِـهْ
إِنّي لَـهُ، ولِي هُـوَ رَبّي شَرانِـي بِـدِمـاهْ

لا ذَنْـبَ يُثْـقِـلُ هُـنـا لا أَخْشَـى ما بَعْدَ الوَفاهْ
فِي حِـرْزِهِ كُـلُّ الْمُنـى تَصـونُ آجـالـي يَـداهْ
لا يَخْطَفَنّي مِنْ يَـدِهْ مَرْءٌ ولا كَيْدُ الْجَحيـمْ
بِقُّوَةِ الرّبِّ أَنـا أَحْيـا إِلـى يَـوْمِ لِـقـاهْ
