An Idiot's Skills/Abilities Guide to RED MAGE!!! | FFXIV Endwalker

Can someone tell me why sometimes Manafication doesn't give 50/50 mana at all? It happened to me few times already and I have no idea why.

new to ffxiv, decided to become a red mage as soon as i got to lvl 50 as a white mage, lol. this video really helps

I'm rethinking playing Red Mage. I thought it would balance swordplay and magic, but it seems like I was wrong, and that it favors magic more

This was fantastic. I have a lvl 90 RDM from doing PVP and I like summoner but I want fast and busy. I used to main black mage but at this stage it feels clunky to me. I wanna love RDM and this may have helped!

The buffs from embolden & manification,do they work with the enchanted melle combo,fletch & contre six ?

dont really understand why FFXIV h as to have such complicated rotations. It scares so many people away from the game... not to mention doing different jobs.

yeah.. still a bit overwhelmed but this at least makes it a bit clearer how you're supposed to use all the things

Great video. Simple, to the point, easy to understand and no fluff in between that would make people click off.

I think these accelerated start guides seem to have a problem with the point of a guide. While I am sure it's good to give an idea of what the class is like at max level with all its bells and whistles, you're going to leave the new player out. What kind of help do you give to the person who just hit level 50 and sees a hotbar full of abilities they don't understand?
You assume they have knowledge that a new player wouldn't have.

There are lots of these kind of videos but very few of any that I think actually qualify as a guide.

Does red mage in FF 14 have any unique spells I played RM back in FF 11 but it wasn't viable as a main because it was lacking in so many areas since it's stuck to basic spells and none of them are unique to the class even though I liked the play style

Not bad! While I can't get Red Mage myself (trial account and all), this was very informative, and I may refer to this if/when I actually CAN get the class!

Now, for the hard ask... How the heck would you make a Blue Mage video? I mean, it's definitely got uses behind it. In fact, it's labelled as a class you could use as ANY role, so I'd love to hear how one would put such a class to use in dungeon run settings (Non Duty Roulette ones, I mean)?
I mean, there's bound to be some sort of meta there, right? Like, Healers should use things like Angel's Whisper, or Kupo Cure, while DPS would consider high-potency damaging spells, like Eruption... But outside of the obvious, I'm still confused how one would go about using one.

I just wanted to say this video is awesome, some of the stuff in it I had already figured out, but there was allot of it I hadn't thought about, granted I just became a RDM last night, but still you've saved me allot of trouble

it does explain the abilities, but not what i was searching for and is in the end important to red mage players.

Forgot to mention damage types. “Enhanced” versions of abilities are magic damage while normal are physical. oGCD’s, Flechte and Contre Six, are physical. Non-enhanced and the oGCDs do not gain the buff from Embolden. I didn’t know that for far too long.

So, as a lv 53 or so Red Mage, I weave Engagement into my melee combo, and you forgot to mention Fleche and I assume its ape version are instant, off global, casts.
