Minecraft is way bigger than star citizen.

The measures in this video are completely messed up. In the beginning of the video it's shown that one square has 1x1 km. So, the width of GTA 3 map is 9 km, as shown later. But man, no way there's 9 km from right to the left edge! There's written that this map is 9 square km, and actually the width of the map would be 3 km, which is much more realistic, but not freakin 9 km!!

Nothing can beat Elite Dangerous's size. It's a literal 1:1 scale of the Milky Way.

Though I'm not entirely sure, I think that LOTRO must be the largest, non procedurally generated videogame of all time.

All the others that come to mind are either entirely procedurally generated (Elder Scrolls II: Daggerfall, No Man's Sky) or procedurally generated and then edited (EVE).

LOTRO has did the impossible. It has incorporated the vast majority of Middle-Earth and it's still going

may I have your source for burnout paradise ? cause going from one side of the map to the other takes less than 10 km so how can it be 500km². you can see by the layout of the roads that it doesn't makes sense for it to be that big

I don't wanna to correct you but i have to, No Man's Sky has procuderal world generation which means the No Man's Sky map is unknown so obviously it is the biggest map of all time...

The World of Warcraft map did not include large worlds containing many large zones from several expansions. The total are could easily be doubled or even tripled to what was shown.
