This is basically the same feeling you'll get the first time you reach a last boss in Darkest Dungeon 2. It's unfair in very specific ways that you have to have been prepared for well before reaching that point. I like the little background writing from the boss in this fight though.

This game is my top “fuck you, see you tomorrow” game. I play it for a few hours, hit another vertical spike, and rage quit after getting stuck for an hour. Then I go back anyway the next day because it is so good.

Thanks for the video! But I have some questions. generally I dislike Japanese writing, so

1) do you have to pay attention to the story, and does it take up a lot of playtime? honestly I end up ignoring the story for most games

2) I'll grit my teeth through the story if you can guarantee that, one all evil people are punished accordingly, and two that the ending is happy or at least bitter sweet. I can't stand misery porn, like scenes in Attack on Titan, where women are being cannibalized while screaming for there dad.

If the writing doesn't violate my stated story tastes I enjoy difficulty and luck in my games (140+ hrs in darkest dungeon)

i've played lobotomy corp in the single digit hours and seeing her here still makes me think of Sephiroth's theme

This fight is legit agony when I first tried thinking it would be a cake walk, and I just kept on needing light when ever she does a mass attack because our emotion level can only go to 1 and u can only replenish ur light once while u don’t have the actual good light restoration card Available, I was on able to beat it cuz I had the 2 legendary pierce dmg based key pages to beat her

I’m so dumb, I watched almost the whole thing and thought “why are they complaining? Look how easily they’re taking down every enemy with only one character” and then when all the “bad guys” died, and it said “defeat” I was just like… “oh”

seems like a fun game, if i learned something about turn based games is that the boss is way stronger than any of your individual characters losing one at half the boss hp is just lost already
