Built my first one during quarantine, spend 10 total hours building it (albeit with breaks) and I plugged my HDMI into my motherboard and it took me until the next day to figure it out

You forgot about the cable management

I have build 3 and changed the case on mine 2 times and everytime i turn it on for the first time i get nervous

it works for 5 seconds

My first cpu and ssd were dead, and then I sunk money into an expensive monitor

When i finished building my gaming pc my heart was beating so fast thinking it would not work

What age did you guys get into building pcs? I got into and built mine at 10

My first PC build was with a 4090 so you can bet i was feeling very nervous if it would black screen.

At my first build I forgot to switch on the PSU and so it didn't turn on first try. Scary.

Jokes on you I don't have that type of money

Then you forget the psu switch or the power button cable to be connected

Was it just me or when I first started my self built pc I was so untrusty of myself that I was scared it might even blow up when I power it up, hopefully I survived, also I had to reassemble my pc 2 days later because I didnt watch tutorials and didn't notice my case opened up from the side to enable cable managing so i did. Now i'm living my best life😅

You forgot the part where you plug the hdmi in the motherboard bt accident and not the gpu and then get a heartattack

Didn’t work my first time spent 2 hours trouble shooting then spent another day messing around with stuff

Make sure to put in the HDMI or VGA (old HDMI) to the GPU, not the mobo.

I literally tried to connect every wire the psu had, until i realized that maybe not everything needs to be used

Building a PC is the best feeling in the world honestly.. as soon as I'm done building one I immediately want to build another 🥹

Mine is a bit different cuz I had my dad too help and he’s built about 30 pc

You forgot the part where you turn it on and then it turns of and you get a slight heart attack, but the pc returns back on
(that's called memory training).

I mean you could research how to build a computer and choose parts before buying parts but oh well. Its not that bad as long as you don't force things to much it's eazzy peazzy. A tiny amount of force is needed for the ram for example but almost everything is labeled and or made to fit only a specific connector so again as long as you don't force connectors in to sockets or stuff like that, it's fine.

i just built my first pc a week ago and im sure something is broken.

my first build was 2 days ago the aio cooler wouldn't come on and the pins from the mobo cpu socket got bent. the pc did not work and yesterday I had my mobo repaired luckily. the AIO cooler is also on now

Why you pick ddr4 ram instead of ddr5 if you have 4070 ti
