Could the sound be coming from the ram being too powerful? i bought a hp pavilon desktop a while ago and just recently i bought 16gb of 3200hmz and it makes a beepoing sound, when i entered m,y old ram it worked perfectly fine and i read some articals saying that the ram could not be compatible with my pc

Where does the beeping come from? I have a laser level that beeps all the time and its quite loud and annoying,and cant be disabled. I wanted to scratch its speaker or break it somehow but can't locate it.
