Pretty much 99% of these “black parents when…” or “black parents at the beginning of school…” videos are what pretty much every parent/family did regardless of race. Word for word and cadence for cadence. If you make those labels for those videos that’s fine, but what is annoying is how people will get offended or attack you for pointing out that these aren’t uniquely black experiences

One time, in school, (kindergarten) I had a PB&J sandwich, but the bread molded for some reason while in my lunch box. I told the teacher and they took it and threw it away. THEN, THEY BROUGHT ME A MINI-BAG OF GOLDFISH, LIKE THE ONES YOU GET AS PARTY TREATS. AND TOLD ME TO EAT THAT INSTEAD. The funny part? There I am in my little lite-brite shoes, eating a bag of goldfish, chips, an apple or a tangerine (idk this was so many years ago) and apple juice for my lunch. Needless to say, my mom was pretty upset at the school XD

The thing is in elementary my name was on the board to many times and I would have checks too and I laughed about it… it was for recess and I didn’t care even though I was owing like 10 minutes of it… and it was like 3 times a week
