ОтветитьWith the U.S had the diesel option for us.
ОтветитьWhat’s the lever at arm rest height on the driver seat just above the middle cabin
Ответитьford lose connection to apple CarPlay from time to time. I have to restart both the car and my iPhone every time connection is lost. dont know if it is an CarPlay thing or ford central control system issue.
ОтветитьBlind spot monitoring isn’t in my option pack
ОтветитьBig Mac of utes... Costs way too much for cheap garbage, has no substance and attracts bogans.
ОтветитьI love how Paul never has to look for his water bottle. Easy access or smart editing 🤔
Ответитьa hard pass from me, if theres one thing i've seen from driving and buy/selling utes is that people get rid of rangers within a couple of years of owning them
ОтветитьHow did you drop the back seat?
ОтветитьHill decent is brilliant on the Ranger, trust it and keep your foot off the brake and you be surprised how good it is.
ОтветитьThe fact that it’s direct injection, will make it very unreliable within several years due to all the carbon build up that will cause misfires, unnecessary vibration , heat, gasket issues due to heat from the turbo. My friend who has a Ford Fusion has this same issues I mentioned, due to the fact that it’s DI only.
One would think that Ford engineering should’ve done both PFI/DI to solve almost 90% of the issue, but NO! This is sad. Tacoma might be under powered with old V6 and 6 speed transmission but for the most part it’s trouble free for many years to come.
What do you think about the transmission issues that seems to follow the Ford Ranger?
ОтветитьI bought a Ranger sport, had it for a week before I realised it had been leaking oil since new. Took it back and got it fixed. Next week I had a coolant leak, they fixed that and told me I also had a problem with the air con. Then they said the engine needed replacing. After 1000kms!!!!! Now I am waiting for them to “approve” a replacement vehicle. Like they think they have an option. Taking their time. No one rushing to tell me how thing will happen. I now hate Ford. Customer service is non existent from head office. I’m soooo angry
ОтветитьI owned 11 holdens in my life and two weeks ago finally swapped from my Colorado to a Ranger. The Colorado was the most reliable car I have ever owned only requiring a single hose and a door switched replacing in 270+kms, the Ranger was back to the dealer within 5 days with a huge oil leak, then the 2nd week (this week) it had a coolant leak,. They fixed it and then told me there was another leak and also said the engine needs replacing. After spending $55k I am now stuck with a shitty loan car that I cannot fit any parts to so I can do my job. Ford Customer service I believe is an Indian call center, unless they only hire Indian workers and give them scripts to read. I am so depressed about this.
ОтветитьVery thorough demonstration < thx a lot from Egypt
ОтветитьNo reach adjustment on steering wheel? As someone with long legs and shortish arms that is definitely a deal breaker for me. Interesting that every other dual cab has that feature.
ОтветитьFord Ranger keep sleeping 😴 now then GWM P series is here to take your throne
You don't innovate for the past 7 years.
Don't worry about blind spots.... just run em off the road 🤣
ОтветитьThat would be double cab.
ОтветитьIt’s a truck
ОтветитьYou put your foot down and nothing happens? 2.0L fail and it's a guzzler.
ОтветитьA skip on 4 wheels. Fabulous.
ОтветитьHow can ford claim 7.4L per 100km when its really using 10.3L? How accurate are those computers? Shouldnt you just fill the tank to the top and drive a while then refill and see how many km you travelled to get the real fuel usage?
ОтветитьGone are the days of bulletproof Diesel engines. 2 turbos working hard to get a 2lt donk to just enough power. And it still has lag?
ОтветитьWhen you check your fuel economy, test it before you floor it. You need to travel a couple of kilometres at a constant speed so the computer resets to calculate your fuel economy.
ОтветитьInteresting that the AU Ranger gets LED headlights but halogen tailights on the XLT, while the US XLT ranger gets Halogen Headlights but LED taillights
ОтветитьWhy do you wiggle the center arm rest when it’s open? Obviously it’s going to wiggle, you need to wiggle it when it’s closed shut as that’s the position it will be in when you drive.
Ответитьthanks for this review... I'm not worried about the dated look... I prefer this beefy look... just bought a 2021 3.2 XLT with leather and black wheels... cant wait to get it... 3 weeks to go....learnt a few extras from you, thanks again... had no idea about the extra storage under the rear seats... cheers...
ОтветитьNever knew Seth MacFarlane did car reviews . Good review .
ОтветитьThe best for ford cars is safety
ОтветитьPicked up the 21 xlt last week. Disappointed about the cluster, fuel cap and Aircon... no word from Ford that these things would be changed (and in my opinion downgraded). Still a great drive but this video maybe needs an update 🤷🏼
ОтветитьThis is 2020
Ответитьhey buddy just got the xlt 21 with tech package no blind spot monitoring and no air conditioned center consul
ОтветитьPlease review the amarock
ОтветитьNo thanks
ОтветитьYour torque conversion figure is wrong by 100
Ответитьi have the 21.25 biturbo xlt had it for 8 weeks (waited 3 months)i'm getting 8.2 liter per 100 on all driving (beach, barrington tops, around newcastle ) and putting my foot down at times i cant believe your using that amount of fuel that's is total wrong
ОтветитьThe interior hasn't really evolved from the BA or Territory
ОтветитьHey Paul, great video! Just wondering if you could a review on the 2021 XLS sport soon! Can't find much in the way of Aussie reviews on it. Cheers!
ОтветитьQuestion here for the guys who've utilized this model and maybe the 2020 as well with the 10-speed gearbox. I currently own a 2016 Ranger XLT 2.2ltr and I am currently on 100k/km and there seems to be some issues rearing its ugly head. But I have been told this 10 speed gearbox is rubbish. Ford does want to give me the best trade-in value currently. But not sure if I am going to go XLT route again or just "kak en betaal" and get a Toyota.
ОтветитьSwitched from a Focus estate to a Ranger three years ago. I'm not going back. It's a gateway truck, I'm eyeing the Ram 1500 now.
ОтветитьThe 2021 XLT looks different to that in the video. Ive got an MY19 that looks same but just purchased a 21.25 today in Melbourne. Changes include different grill and change in dash cluster...
ОтветитьCan you do a review of the F250 there in australia?
ОтветитьAmazing bakkie/ute/car ...
Ответитьford needs to make the interior new it is geting old
ОтветитьWhen Paul was using Hill Descent Control, he said on a number of occasions that he applied the brake pedal; as the foot brake operates on all 4 wheels, it overrides Hill Descent Control which uses the ETC (Electronic Traction Control) sensors to sense a gain in speed, and then randomly applies individual brakes to control, or 'manage' the descent speed of the vehicle!
Given that Ford acquired this technology during their ownership of Land Rover, it may be that the driver can adjust the descent speed by using the +/- buttons on the Cruise Controls, if Cruise Control is fitted to the Ranger!
Ford Ranger very good
ОтветитьIt’s done.
