I know this is 5 months late but Modern is a style not a descriptor of time, which i totally get is confusing. Usually "Contemporary" is used when describing current styles. Also, this style is dated! It is an evolutiom of Frank Lloyd Wright and other's work which was in its hieght in the mid 1900's! This is a new build but if you look up famous Modern architects you will be able to see the similarities (and many died in the 70's, so that tells you how long ago it was)

I must say, I am extremely uninterested in building for the Sims. I refuse to do it, and I don’t enjoy watching others do it. Except you! Your builds and designs are always so nice!

so technically modern is just whatever is currently in trend. Sometimes old trends come back and are considered modern. The thing is only the trends that weren't lumped with another title is pushed into the modern category. So really modern is not modern because modern is changing all the time

I don't know but I love both! They both fit the overall themes and could see such nice people living in there! Very cute overall love seeing it all come together

It's so cool cause both sides definitely have their own personalities that seem to be consistent throughout the entire house. I could imagine what type of people lived in the houses

I think team Google because it has more things and less space although the Pinterest side has more colors and looks busy it has a lot of space which isn’t a bad thing and you couldn’t do much because of the pictures but they both look great overall ❤

Idk, those kinds of modern houses for me have like two very distinct vibes. It's like 1960s-1990s idea of the future of houses and like those really awesome geometric tattoos but done by a drunk guy who bought a tattoo machine off amazon and also can't draw.
