Way too fast and shaky camera
ОтветитьI never learned "proper" techniques for cross stitch since I learned from a cheap kit and never looked online. The loop method of starting off was magical
ОтветитьBeautiful
ОтветитьWhy did I see this YEARS ago. I do the knot method and it’s a mess. The loop method is perfect!
ОтветитьGreat tutorial thanks a lot
ОтветитьI'm a bloke and i love doing cross stitching done loads of projects since i started when i was 21 i have just turned 46!!!
ОтветитьI’ve been cross stitching for years and never knew about the loop method, I am shook and this has changed my life
ОтветитьI liked your intro to cross stitching - thank you for sharing, however,, your voice was echoing in your room and the background music interfered with concentration.
ОтветитьMy mim taught me how to cross stitch and I think we're doing it wrong. She's been cross stitching for more than 30 years and she does it very different, interesting.
ОтветитьYou already lost me with the numbers 😂
Ответитьso much it being for beginners, you might want to try to slow down maybe. not everyone been doing it for years
ОтветитьThe loop is 🤯
ОтветитьOr you could show us how you get ur hair so silky smooth. I came here to figure how to
Not thread’ my needle, but the intro distracted me because of your hair 😂😂😂
Very confusing. As a beginner it would have been better if done larger stitches and camera not moving so much😢
ОтветитьI've been told by people who have done cross stitching before that it's necessary to find the center of the fabric and then start your pattern from there. Is this true? Do you always need to go and find the centre? Also wondering if there was a trick to while that you're doing the stitching, Sometimes the thread will become knotted halfway through, is there a way to prevent this while you're working?
ОтветитьThanks again
ОтветитьThanks for sharing the loop method of starting, will definitely be using that.
ОтветитьI'm sorry to ask such a silly question, but how do you keep the thread on the needle, have you knotted it?
ОтветитьHello, I am new to your channel. I have tried cross stitch in the past, under my own research and trying to follow patterns, but like your video better. Its a bit blurry in places I have to say and I had to squint a bit, but I got the idea. Do you follow counted cross stitch, I have bought kits in the past which say this on them? I assume the concept is exactly the same. I have done stitches where you do a row then go back on yourself to complete but I find this hard to work out when doing horizontally? Any tips? Also how do you do accommodate doing literally one colour of one square for example, which I have found in patterns? Also if the pattern is irregular its not possible to continue in the block style & my work ends up looking a mess mostly on the back. Many thanks, looking forward to more videos, xxx
ОтветитьInformation was very informative.
ОтветитьThis is a brilliant video!!! I learned a lot about cross stitching. Thank you!!! 😊
ОтветитьCorrection x' s not ds
ОтветитьI always wanted to learn but I need to been shown 🌠 thank you for taking the time! Maybe just maybe I do this. I will habe to watch many more videos before I start playing with the stitch. I thought when I ordered a pattern I thought it was a kit and of course it wasn't. I don't know what to do with this piece of paper with all these d's on there I need help🐥🐥🐥🐥
ОтветитьFavorite vid I’ve found so far
ОтветитьHi Sally I am a beginner thank you for showing me very good instructions. 😘 xxx
ОтветитьWOW! I might need to put video in "slow motion"/ Clear instructions yet talking very fast for my 50+ year old ears and eyes....So sorry
ОтветитьHoping withing a few months I am able to complete a cross stitch "wedding message" to my son and his fiance Thanks for helping me start!
ОтветитьYou're the only person who actually tought me something
ОтветитьOKAY HOW IN THE WORLD
I had a dream last night where I learned how to cross stitch, decided to look it up today, and I was RIGHT?????? HOw?? What in the heck
Also I've never heard it called floss, we just call it thread here in the US
I love your videos . I am having a problem finding a 24 count aida cloth . I need it in cream. Would you know where I might purchase it? I live in Boise Idaho and we have lots of craft stores but no 24 count cloth.
ОтветитьI always try and loop when I start off! I find it neater!
ОтветитьThank you. Great beginner video. I haven’t stitched in a long time.
Ответитьऑल ऑल द बेस्ट
ОтветитьThank you very much for the video.
ОтветитьYou are a lovely teacher and thank you. For future videos would there be a way you can stabilize the camera? It almost made me dizzy and I was not able to focus on the the stitching. Thanks again and keep up the videos!
Ответить👌🌷🥀❤️
ОтветитьCan you use the loop method with odd number of strands?
ОтветитьGoodness. How far cross stitching has come in 20 years. Lol. Great video! But I do have a question... How do you use the loop method if you have 3 strands of thread? I really want to save the thread and neatly cross stich, but at the moment my project requires 3 strands. TIA!!
Amanda
I really like your instructions. They are the best I've looked at. I only have one thing I don't like. You talk so fast I have a hard time keeping up with your instructions. I feel like I'm being dragged behind wild horses.
It would be nice if you talked a bit slower.. But the instructions are great.
thank you!! my grandma taught me how to cross stitch when i was very young and i remember how, but she always started it for me so i needed to learn that!
ОтветитьYou talk too fast and your hand moves too fast for me to keep up.
Ответитьthis video was ultra helpful and none too complicated! you are the cross stitch queen!!
ОтветитьDoes anyone. Have stamped just X’s. I do not want other. Stitches.
ОтветитьThis video doesn't show you how to put your paper in the circle thing
ОтветитьIs it possible to do the loop method with 2 pieces of thread? I am having a hell of a time trying, so I've been using my knot method.
ОтветитьGreat video,--easy-to-see up-close shots, and a very pretty lady. 😁
ОтветитьCould you show me how to find the middle
ОтветитьHi Sally
It's nice to meet you
