Coming back to this five years later to say thanks again. I should have had this tattooed on my arm, lol.
ОтветитьThank you!
ОтветитьIt just what I need.
ОтветитьThese tutorials from this channel kickstarted my life as a multimedia artist back in like 2014
ОтветитьIt works. Tq Bro.👍
ОтветитьWill it work during live call and live recording?
ОтветитьThis is still brilliant in 2022. Thanks!
ОтветитьLiterally every audacity tutorial uses the same exact steps - noise reduct, compress, EQ, boosts, limiter, normalize. These steps suck for audiobook narrators FYI. I'm looking for something different and better :) I use Davinci Resolve and Studio One mainly and trying to learn this Audacity free stuff. Not panning out so well boo
ОтветитьBroooo!!! Thank you!
ОтветитьThis is gold, thanks a lot man
Ответитьthank you for explaining what each step does not like other tutorial. thumbs-up!
ОтветитьGreat tips, thanks for the advice 👍
ОтветитьThank u so much 😛
Ответитьadvice is misguided - sorry - please learn a bit more about audio before advising people
ОтветитьI have used this for every college project with a video included
ОтветитьFirst tut about this topic where the commentator's voice actually sounded good.
ОтветитьThanks brother..It’s amazing❤️
ОтветитьPerfect!
ОтветитьStill the best audio settings for me after six years
ОтветитьThis is quite useful, thank you. 🤓
ОтветитьGreatest Tutorial ever!
ОтветитьCan you do an update version to this? I think things have changed in Audacity, thanks! Great vid!
Ответитьsaved my tushie
ОтветитьThank you so much! This was absolutely gold!
ОтветитьGreat Tuition
ОтветитьThanks. I've been looking for this. How about reducing the room reverb without the use of add-ons?
ОтветитьThank you so much for this amazing video!
ОтветитьBeautiful
Ответитьwould be great if you did this with an actual fan going louder or something to show the difference
Ответитьgreat info, maybe slow down a tad for computer dummies like myself :)
ОтветитьThanks man! Great tutorial!
Ответить"a good distance" when you cant even hear me if I speak an centi meters away from the microphone
ОтветитьAWE. SOME.
Hey man, this IS awesome! I downloaded audacity on my mac last year, but haven't used it much or figured it out. YOUR explanations are TOP NOTCH, simple, and easy to understand!
Next time I'm working on anything audio related, I'm going to refer myself back to THIS tutorial and follow along.
So grateful for the exceptional work you do! Really appreciated 😊❤👍
Fantastic
ОтветитьOne annoying thing: when you select smth from the menu, PAUSE for a few sec, so people can read what/where you selected. FOR YOU it's casual stuff, for us - not. And enable "mouse clicks" in recording software.
ОтветитьDefinitely 'like' for this tutorial! Just one note: I wouldn't be so enthusiastic about "bass boost" - your voice become *not deep*, but like you're speaking from a barrel. It's different thing! "Natural" deep voice is not just "big bass", but a whole tembre and "harmonized" with other tones. It's a big theory!
Ответитьthanks this is super helpful
ОтветитьThanks!
ОтветитьWorks in Linux too!!!!!
ОтветитьWould you recommend this for singing recording
ОтветитьGENIUS
Ответитьwhat is the mobile software
ОтветитьAlso this taught me alot
ОтветитьInteresting tips, but they don't really help with my issues. My mic is also my camera, so I have to keep it about 2 feet away. The audio can sound pretty rough though. I usually run it though noise reduction (which the way to do that has changed a lot since you made this video), normalization at -2db, then an equalization that boosts the 100-150hz range and drops a few other ranges to try and get rid of various sounds I don't want. I then finish it off with a clip fix to get rid of clipping sounds which just happen a lot with this microphone. When I get done it sounds great out of my speakers, but I noticed when I play it through TV it sounds super rough. I'm not quite sure why this is the case. I'm also not really sure what I can do to fix it. If you have any tips I would really appreciate that.
