ОтветитьI just started taking guitar lessons, about a month ago. I've recently been introduced to everything within this video and I understand it, but what's the trick to actually learning it, as far as exercises? Hearing it described is one thing, but applying it and learning it, and remembering it is a different story. Any tips on exercises or ways to apply what's mentioned in this video, in a way that it can all be remembered? I get it, I just need to incorporate all of it into my playing. I guess that's the million dollar question?
ОтветитьAbsolutely brilliant teaching
ОтветитьThank you so much!
ОтветитьI've also heard to make a major chord you use 1-3-5. So do you use 1-4-5 or 1-3-5 to form a major chord?

ОтветитьThis video helped a lot!
ОтветитьThank you. I like music theory . Should I medicate ?
ОтветитьThe 1 4 5 and 2 3 6 rule for chords is only for Major scales? Or does that also apply to minor scales? What's the note arrangement in a minor scale?
ОтветитьHi , I learnt the guitar when I was 6 yrs after being inspired by my dad who was a guitarist. At that age, learning all this theory made me overwhelmed that I begun to hate it and I quit holding a six string in my life again. My dad passed away in 2016, I took his guitar which was beginning to rust and decided to play instead. I didn't go for classes this time, instead my brother taught me a few chords. Over 6 years of playing I felt a need of learning some basics, which you did. My guitar teacher told me these things when I was 6 years old, which made less sense to me then. But today, your video is ringing bells in my head. With more clarity and understanding, I'm in a pursuit to get a stronghold with theory as well as playing. Thank you very much:)
ОтветитьEveryone commenting has been playing for 20+ years I have been playing for around 11 months I’ve got a lot of stuff down but I’m mediocre and I don’t want to be mediocre forever I play guitar and bass all self taught cause I love to learn and your videos (and bassbuzz!) have been the only thing helping me actually progress
