DCS World - 2.9 Update NVIDIA DLSS - Quality Performance which is best - rtx4090

note the ghosting in the HUD and on the sides of the cockpit - big negative for DLSS..

Using VR with a 3080Ti / 64gb RAM. The ghosting is terrible, specially when dogfighting. The other planes look like they’re disintegrating into a trail of smoke. The cockpit resolution makes me feel like I’m blind and need glasses….hope it gets better, if not my DCS experience now sucks

What do you need DLSS for with a 4090. Turn on DLAA and leave upscaling alone.

Something is not working right, all in TOP QUALITY without DLSS in 4k you need to get at least 140 FPS on a RTX 4090, with DLSS you need to get at least 180 FPS in 4k

Seems all the FC3 planes are suffering from blurry HUD's on my system. I do have to adjust the sharpness to 0.5 or 0.6 and see if that helps.

I have 180 FPS with/without DLSS (13900K, RTX4090) MAX settings. With DLSS ON, GPU power consuming much better DLSS-OFF=270w, DLSS-ON=190w-200-w

Ghosting on HUD, MFDs, LSO Station, Tanker, and Tanker basket. Not too bad for the first patch for it though. FPS in VR on the 4080 is staying 80-90fps in the F-18, 60-72 in the Apache. This is with max graphics. Only have tried it with MT though, going to try with non MT next.

you should also mention your pc specs

dude u have some problem with your cpu. your 4090 is working at 40% u need to check your pc

hmmm. 4070ti/5800x3d/32gb-3600. 2560x1440. all HIGH, dlss balance, DLAA on, stable 180 fps on CDCS server, slightly ghosting on my f16 FSR, no ghost on hud and helmet. absolutly amazing patch.

How about setting the recommended sharpening value 0.5 for NVidia DLSS? It's right there in the changelog... And why would you keep labels on?
