I thought another cool attention to detail was that Ellie’s Jacket is left behind at the farmhouse. It’s not very obvious, but there’s on lone green jacket in the master bedroom at the end of the game.

I’m super late to the party. I just finished the game. Loved it! Ellie’s story was just brutal. And that ending was depressing AF. That’s my favorite emotion to feel.

I WOULD ADD that the whole dinosaur scene especially when they throw the hat onto the long neck had a lot of people (myself included) seeing a call back to when they both saw the giraffe at the college in the first game WHICH was a nod to Jurassic Park when they pet the long neck dinosaurs.

The Nathan Drake costume is fun because in the Uncharted games there’s a newspaper clipping of a deadly virus that was discovered and could spread world wide giving an indication that both naughty dog games are actually in the same universe where Nathan Drake becomes a renowned explorer and then the world goes to shit.

None of these are easter eggs they're just things you find in the game during a regular playthrough..Nice try though.

I could usually care less about these things but when it's done so blatantly and forced into a narrative it really puts me and most other people off. The only people it even appels to are the mindless sheep on Twitter that propagate cancel culture and the whole "do better" attitude and they don't even play games so I honestly don't know what the fuck they were thinking putting in all that nonsense. Never force your political views into a narrative. If it isn't there organically or has a reason to be there then leave it out. How many times will Hollywood make the same mistake. I don't remember the location but I found a desk with Warhammer board game figures and there was an airbrush next to them suggesting someone was painting them.

Who else thinks that they should’ve had a flashback when Ellie was in the arcade in tlou2. Because the game the turning was the game that she played with rylie in left behind. You could of pressed triangle, and she woulda closed her eyes, and you could hear rylie’s voice.

When you start the game as Joel and ride back to Jackson, then the gas station that is on the way is the same gas station that was in the first episode of the Walking Dead

There is a point in one of the flash backs where Eliie picks up one of the cards and mentions Sarah was into "those little creature things" which I think is a refrence to Pokemon. A more obvious one is when playing as Abby where that guy she is with (the one Tommy later shoots, I forgot his name) says he likes Anime and says tonoght he is going to watch the one about "The Girl who rides the Wolf" which is a refrence to Princess Mononoke.

They did not include the Pearl Jam "Lightning Bolt" album poster which can be seen in the music store that Ellie and Dina went to, Neil Druckmann is a huge Pearl Jam fan and the emotional song that Joel plays to Ellie was also from Pearl Jam Lightning Bolt album titled "Future Days". Troy Baker also said that Neil used to sing that song everynight to his daughter.. ❤

There's an Uncharted 4 easter egg which mentions Nate and Sam. It's in Abby day 2 when you first reach the hospital to find supplies, right before the cutscene of meeting Whitney, you'll see 2 or 3 soldiers holding an "Assignment" checklist that has several names, nate and sam will be on that list.
