Here are basic requirements to run a hedge fund. I doubt Manny is even 2% qualified to run a fund on his own. "At least 10 years of investment experience and a proven performance record are required to become a hedge fund manager. Hedge fund managers need excellent investment, analytical, and stock-picking skills in order to effectively manage their fund and generate strong returns for investors and general partners." Manny was running a Ponzi and it caught up with him plain/simple. Now he is playing on the group's emotions hoping for sympathy. If I was him, I'd consider moving to another country bc he's very much in danger of being investigated by authorities. We all know that there are politicians chomping at the bit for things like this to happen that are based in the United States.

This is why I said, I will believe it when I see it. Manny has already shown numerous times he is a stranger to the truth, so to speak. This is why I didn't get excited when I heard the loan story at first because I have a strong feeling, it's just that, another Manny story. There will more than likely be more excuses today and tomorrow and he will blame people for threatening him.
