Against my expectations the muzzle break (armcom) that reduces horizontal recoil and increases the vertical one is the better than the Champion one for the AK-24.
Increasing the horizontal recoil for the AK-24 is destroying it

the 6KU suppressor does reduce damage but if you really look at the numbers, the damage reduction doesn't change the amount of bullets to kill at any range

also was just doing some testing on the Aim Trainer and just found out that the Warhawk Compensator is also a flash hider? had my buddy shoot with it on for a few guns and it hid the flash on every one

I always keep switching between Champion muzzle brake and tactical muzzle brake. I can't decide which one i think is best.

Type 4 lowers fire power more than pb heavy suppressor so how can type 4 do more damage than pb?

What I'm really curious about is whether there's actually any point to putting a compensator or muzzle brake on the sniper rifles. They get no tangible benefit from recoil reduction and even the Tactical Compensator's accuracy boost is of minimal use since the snipers have a base spread of 0. But even with as useless as those barrel attachments should be, Dice keeps making them available on sniper rifles.

I've even tried testing them to see if it changes how your point of aim moves, but I see no difference other than the visuals of the gun.

It's hilarious that the tactical comp, the one muzzle device that only has ports on the top, actually increases vertical recoil lol. On most guns I think that thing would actually result in the gun being pushed down, which is also difficult to control

Man, they had a chance to really make these attachments realistic but just completely missed the mark. The actual design of the devices seems basically arbitrary compared to the effects they have. A device that only has ports on the top increases vertical recoil? Really? And a linear compensator, a device that just sends all the blast out the front, does a better job of recoil control than a massive 4 port brake? That's like a 3-gun level muzzle device. It should bring recoil down to almost nothing. But then you'd need trade-offs. The thing about aggressive muzzle devices is that they are *loud*. They could have added a kind of screen effect that would indicate the loose direction of a nearby enemy that's using a really aggressive brake/comp. Also, if they had actually put suppression effects in the game (like when you're being shot at), there could have been screen distortions while firing to simulate the concussion from the shots.

Then, with suppressors, they were so close to getting them right. They shouldn't have made any of them reduce damage. That should have been reserved for subsonic ammo. With the light suppressors, they really missed a chance to have a heat distortion effect after a mag dump, which the wrapped one wouldn't have as bad. That and not burning yourself are the entire reason to use a wrapped suppressor lol. The larger ones, having more volume, wouldn't head up as much. The partial vs full minimap effect is good, I like that. I think the main negative effect should have been weapon handling, especially on the big ones. A giant pipe full of metal baffles hanging off the end of your barrel is going to have a big impact on how steady you can hold the rifle and how quick you can manipulate it. So, more sway while ADS, slower ADS and reload speeds.

All these barrels are just for show. Literally no difference besides suppressors

That wrapped Suppressor is the way. I will love the day when they get suppressors correct. You gain velocity which should increase damages
