Are we still Goldfinger or are we now Thunderballs. It still the Scottish jackass with a fancy lee-sance to run amok killing Third World countries for the stupid British Empire

That Hermann Goering impersonator in the grey suit didn't do much, did he? Apart from wiping the sweat off from seeing Number 9 getting fried to a crisp.

My first James Bond-movie was "Thunderball" when my late father took me to the "James Bond-Festival" in Gothenburg, Sweden. I was thirteen years old and fell in love with the magical world of 007. Great scene, chilling voice by Eric Pohlmann and good acting by Anthony Dawson as E.S.Blofeld/Nr.1. "Thunderball" stiill to this day remains my Top-James Bond film! Epic, classic, witty with Connery as his best and superbly directed by the master- Terence Young!

Anthony Dawson who played Professor Dent in Dr. No (1962) once again returns from From Russia with Love (1963) as the faceless Ernst Stavro Blofeld with Austrian actor Eric Pohlmann dubbing his voice.

Active in Japan, Number Seven was involved in the blackmail of a Japanese double agent named Matsou Fujiwa. “Unfortunately, only 40 million yen. All the man had.”

Don’t know if anyone has mentioned this but I think number five refers to a real life crime, a train robbery that was big news at the time. It’s a nice touch of humour to have the suggestion that SPECTRE is so much the special executive for evil, they actually got a fee for acting as consultants on that train robbery.

I always figured that Number Nine had embezzled SPECTRE money and had then planted evidence to make it look like Number Eleven was responsible which is why he wasn't concerned - he thought Number Eleven would take the fall.
