Have you tried using the bracket with the mic adaptor, mic cold shoe and audio cable?

That rear lens looks dangerously close to scraping against the chest mount metal. Any chance of scratching? Hard to tell from this angle.

Can somebody PLEASE tell me how to screw the x3 into the mount?? Do you have to buy an adapterthat then fits on to the chest mount? The pic of the chest mount on the website only shows the chest mount, not HOW it screws into the camera itself?? Does it come with it? Or is this a seperate piece???? Argh!!!

I would try doing this same mount but with the camera upright. It is more complicated but also yields better results.

Now, how do slide that thing out to your side in similar condition so a person can get better skiing shots to critique ourselves with?! Needs a counter balance of some kind. I dont like the above head level shots but more close to chest or shoulder level, slightly in front of me and off to the side a bit. I also like to capture my family skiing all around me. I havent found a good solution yet except to stuff in my backpack at a weird angle and hope it doesn’t fall down.

this mount is garbage. I mounted it on my my skateboard, barely going over some bumps. Broke within 3 minutes. Some of you may think I was doing something crazy. I was just cruising over a newly paved park path. Glad I didn't put this on a chest mount, would've definitely broken my camera. I will just spend $40+ on a actual camera cage from amazon

I've been thinking of getting an Insta360 X3 for safety purposes when riding my motorcycle and there isnt much space on my handlebars so this would be a great solution for me. not sure if you will dead my comment, but have a quick question. I ride aero type road bike and thinking to get a x3 model. what will be the best way to install the device on my bike? main purpose is to shoot myself while I am riding and want my body to show, not just the road view. any comment will be appreciated 😅

Great idea for a product and keen to give this a try, maybe an idea for when the camera is located on the bracket, a bit of elesticated rubber/strap to give it that little bit more of a secure fit, whilst also taking away any extra potential stress on the camera? Think it would also give me extra peace of mind 🤣 Only feedback though, great product and will hopefully get one from your next batch 👍🏻

A simple Velcro strap could take the weight off the mounting screw and I love the design. This would be perfect for my wife's fish adventures.

just a suggestion (but i know you have thought of this, but if not then here it is) if it wiggles on the side because the wight is not centered then you should put an extra material on the other side to balance the weight out (like the scale in the law, or seesaw). over all such an innovative product, ride safe~
