Finally checked out your wildlife photography. Nice work. I never got fully comfortable with digital SLR's "auto mode use" and still "bracketed" often (as manual "filmers" did) with even digital SLR's aiming (hoping?) for that perfect of several shots on anything but moving wildlife....which has a lot of luck involved. That said, I cant imagine being that close to a grizz fumbling around with different ISO's settings ect lol (preference to basic black bears here!). I've heard about to many bad grizz stories, I'll respect them from far away or at the zoo LOL! At least an eagle will perch for a while looking you in the eye giving you some time. Its almost like eagles like their photo "opportunity". That said, I hope you have time to perfect your art just a little more because you are on to something here. What a great opportunity you have. You know where the critters are which is one step ahead of "well known" photographers! The difference as you prob know is in their "learned" camera settings from lots of time/experience and of course they wait around for the perfect light. Easy to say hu? Ya..not easy to do though! Nice to see your Wyoming moose look very healthy with thick full coats, which should mean no tick infestations on them! In North Central and NE They rub their coats off on trees in the case of ticks infestations, then sometimes slowly succumb to the winter elements (and ticks), sad. . Ive only been closely adjacent(15-30 ft) to wolf packs while on a snowmobile and they are not frightened at all as they use the sled trails for better ground coverage. Have you ever had a wolf pack approach you when your on foot? I've heard stories of them sometimes aggressively approaching game hunters. Keep up the good life and hope you have great health in the new year, .....just watch out for the grizz !

I'm glad I found your site. I am in the process of downsizing 60 years of stuff and getting ready to retire. I don't think a snowbelt is for me, but the lifestyle is what I am looking for after all these years.

You are wise well beyond your years. Both my wife and I had great paying careers and ended up retiring but more or less broke and to many bills. I tell all young people including my kids stay out of debt unless that debt is well in control and is making you money. Maybe a good Honda snow blower in your case but not a $50000 car. You are playing it so right by not being a slave to debt. I big part of not getting in debt is being thankful for what you have and appreciate the life you have so you are not always looking for more. Awesome. Cute dog.

I appreciate the need for variety! A " job" is difficult at this point in my life, due to medical issues and limitations from some disabilities! However , I do leather craft for sale, make n sell bows n arrows , I paint on commission different types of subjects.. I am an accomplished chef and do the occassional dinner party for folks. So, living a varied life is right up my alley! Lol! Thanks for sharing!👍🌴😎🌴👍!

I love your lifestyle! I've been interested in tiny houses and living off-grid for years. I just lost my job, where I liked the work but hated having to deal with angry customers and difficult bosses. Now instead of looking for another full time job, I'm going to try to make it on some part time gigs and explore some business ideas I have. Fortunately I have an inexpensive living situation here in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. One of my dreams is to go into business designing off-grid electrical systems.

This woman is my mental turn on.... She is so awesome and mentally like me in so many ways...and did I mention that she is very hott and attractive to boot ??? Book reading is sexy...using ones brain and mental powers is an uber turn on...sapiophile here..
