Fun fact first ever car accident was the Cugnot in 1769. The driver lost control and crashed through a wall at a blazing 4mph.
ОтветитьComplex dynamics within their social and familial circles often thrust them into the heart of conflict, eroding trust and shattering bonds.
ОтветитьBack then McDonald's wasn't just down the road, and back then a big bag of heathy stuff was $1
ОтветитьDefinitely a worthwhile study. Cars have changed so much that the question of safety is like comparing apples to oranges. What is plainly obvious is that some of these wrecks are high velocity collisions between very heavy masses. Crumple zones, airbags and ABS were significantly improving the survivability along with seat belts, safety glass, steering and suspension improvements have made a much better, faster and safer automobile.
ОтветитьIncrivel como as pessoas ficavam tão impressionadas de ver alguém tirando uma foto, hoje em dia... é tão comum, que até pedem para não tirarem fotos dos acidentes 😅
ОтветитьI read someplace that in the early days of driving, in Ohio there were only two cars. They found each other.
ОтветитьVehicles, ALL vehicles, were absolute death traps until well into the 1980s. Many accidents that people get out and walk away from now, would have been fatal in the 50s and 60s.
ОтветитьDon't these bystander people know it's not polite to stare?????
ОтветитьColourised? Maybe not the vehicles unless they were all shades of grey!
ОтветитьAll power poles/ lighting poles still standing even with vehicles wrapped around them...
Great stuff........
Can't believe how cars and poles just can't get along. And have to run and play in traffic.
ОтветитьThere's no debate on crash worthiness, new cars are way way safer, it's not even close, they didn't spend decades researching and testing to come up with something worse, it's only governments that are that inept.
ОтветитьGreat pictures but I wonder if insurance was a requirement back then to?
ОтветитьIncredible pictures !
ОтветитьThey weren't built for safety
ОтветитьWhat a good looking nation we once were. Now it nothing but fatties in suvs and blackies with mopars doing burnouts and stealing clothing
ОтветитьDo you have a picture of pro golfer Ben Hogan's crash with the bus?
ОтветитьAi fake photos
ОтветитьPurple, the choice of colour?
ОтветитьMore horsepower, more and more speed.
Consequence to the morgue !
Do you the Editor... think these 2000 and up Kia,s,Hondas and Toyotas will be around in 60 years?? or threw to the side/trash like a Wal-Mart toaster....Time is the TRUE factor on all things.....Have crashed/totaled a few full frame cars back in the day and thank God I made it through....Now I work on the Airbag.A.b.s. systems on wrecked cars which in one way is safer .....most mechanical things that are built well/repairable...will be around for awhile and not so on todays 10 year limit throwaways.
ОтветитьApparently Mass drivers weren’t good drivers in the 30’s and 40’s.
ОтветитьModern cars are much safer. Well, the expensive one's. Not the cheap, Chinese junk!
ОтветитьThis music sucks almost as bad as these cars do
ОтветитьMy GRANDMAS school bus flipped over on Nov 29 1944 at 7:40 am in Dunbar Twsp near Union Town PA she got glass in her butt and had all the kids had to climb out the front window . But some of the boys went back down the hill into the bus and took all the chocolate and bananas out of the kids lunches that they just got the day before at the company store for the coal mines it was rationed .
ОтветитьSome of these cars looked Photoshop into the picture. The people and cars don't match up.
ОтветитьThe photo restoration is astounding...but, the whole effect is destroyed by the poor music choice. It just doesn't match.
ОтветитьWhy pictures aren't black and white?😂😳🤔🤔
ОтветитьTHE BUS CAME OFF THE WHOLE CHASSIS
ОтветитьWhen folk dressed well....
ОтветитьYes, back to that time, it take a lot to destroyed a car, since their design broke mostly your body. that type of cars was able to passed from 60-70km/h to 0km/h and survived with some scratches. Your organs will not, since they have to absorb the inertia force instead of it.
However, the things that are totally the same from 1930 to 2023 is stupid people behind a wheel. Same mistake, plenty of examples, but still doing it.
Dial it back a bit with the denoiser, it makes some of the images look fake and ai generated
Ответитьрисунки нейросети
ОтветитьThe elevator music is so relaxing for the carnage
ОтветитьThis makes me sad seeing old cars destroyed😢
ОтветитьY en esos tiempos no había mucho tránsito y pocos vehículos y son los mismos accidentes q en esta epoca
ОтветитьThe quality and resolution of these images is impressive!
ОтветитьFunny how there is always a large crowd gathered around most of the wrecks
ОтветитьCommon theme, most had bald tires.
Ответитьthats look sad
