Fun fact first ever car accident was the Cugnot in 1769. The driver lost control and crashed through a wall at a blazing 4mph.

Complex dynamics within their social and familial circles often thrust them into the heart of conflict, eroding trust and shattering bonds.

Definitely a worthwhile study. Cars have changed so much that the question of safety is like comparing apples to oranges. What is plainly obvious is that some of these wrecks are high velocity collisions between very heavy masses. Crumple zones, airbags and ABS were significantly improving the survivability along with seat belts, safety glass, steering and suspension improvements have made a much better, faster and safer automobile.

Incrivel como as pessoas ficavam tão impressionadas de ver alguém tirando uma foto, hoje em dia... é tão comum, que até pedem para não tirarem fotos dos acidentes 😅

I read someplace that in the early days of driving, in Ohio there were only two cars. They found each other.

Vehicles, ALL vehicles, were absolute death traps until well into the 1980s. Many accidents that people get out and walk away from now, would have been fatal in the 50s and 60s.

There's no debate on crash worthiness, new cars are way way safer, it's not even close, they didn't spend decades researching and testing to come up with something worse, it's only governments that are that inept.

Do you the Editor... think these 2000 and up Kia,s,Hondas and Toyotas will be around in 60 years?? or threw to the side/trash like a Wal-Mart toaster....Time is the TRUE factor on all things.....Have crashed/totaled a few full frame cars back in the day and thank God I made it through....Now I work on the Airbag.A.b.s. systems on wrecked cars which in one way is safer .....most mechanical things that are built well/repairable...will be around for awhile and not so on todays 10 year limit throwaways.

My GRANDMAS school bus flipped over on Nov 29 1944 at 7:40 am in Dunbar Twsp near Union Town PA she got glass in her butt and had all the kids had to climb out the front window . But some of the boys went back down the hill into the bus and took all the chocolate and bananas out of the kids lunches that they just got the day before at the company store for the coal mines it was rationed .

Yes, back to that time, it take a lot to destroyed a car, since their design broke mostly your body. that type of cars was able to passed from 60-70km/h to 0km/h and survived with some scratches. Your organs will not, since they have to absorb the inertia force instead of it.
However, the things that are totally the same from 1930 to 2023 is stupid people behind a wheel. Same mistake, plenty of examples, but still doing it.
