this is crazy they either red or blue teams keep coming out with these outrageous cpu's yet I'm here still using a 2600k chip and a 1050ti geesh!! talk bout never catching up

The timing of this and the game selection is very suspicious. I hope this performance is across the board, which means better upgrade path for me. I just have a feeling this leak cherry picked a game that AMD did well in but no one plays lol. Why pick a game no one freaking plays?

Until now I didn't satisfied about cpu and gpu, I'm waiting for Ryzen 3 or Intel i3 will be 8Core - 16threads, and a entry level graphic card can run any AAA-Games Maximum Graphics in 1080p with a stable 60fps above.

The thing I hate about new CPUs are how many non-developers buy up the supply, for mundane gaming, which barely benefits from it. Compilation times matter..

I might buy one if the price is right, my 3700x is still fine and a few months old.

Zen 3 looks cool. I skip generations so i'm waiting for zen 4 (currently on 3600). Will be picking up a 6700x when it comes out. Although I might have to spend a lot, since they'll be releasing a new socket and (maybe) DDR5 support. That means new mobo and I have to buy another 32gb of ram. Considering DDR5 will be new, i'm scared of the price...

It is not 132% faster. It is 32% faster, which is 132% of the 3800x. Same with all the rest from the chart. I’ve stopped watching after that as it ruined the video for me. You should know the difference: 132% faster would be 232% of the speed.

Actually, people have been saying it would be having 15-20% more ipc but 30% more gaming performance which is because of their higher clock speeds. Those leaks make sense based on what was shown right here. This looks really promising to be honest.

I dont think that the overall performance will be 30 percent better at the other hand the change a lot to the design even its still 7nm
