Why don’t you use 3os pelt with +3 to hurricane and 3 facets

that merc setup is innovation

Adding a gg pelt with +3 ele, +3 hurricane, +3 nado with 2 socs faceted I think. Also a frenzy merc with plague/ lawbringer/ delerium/ fort would provide solid control while procing decrepify, and lower resistances. Thanks SP, you my ninja.

Had to give it a try, but now my sorc is naked though this build is nuts ty phil :) On a side note if you got mana issues don't waste points in energy, just grab the mana vine for 3 skill points you won't regret.

When precasting always cta BO before everything else you get extra skill buff from battle command

i always liked doing this kind of druid in lod, i bet with the new sunder charms it will preform even better. I use to use a spirit monarch fcr rings and amulet to reach 99%fcr for 11 frames and i preferred to use skill charms with dex and scs with dex to help me reach max block. I also used a lower resist wand on swap for fun! it really did help to have max block in lod not so sure in d2r though. can't wait to try it in d2r !

what about a magic pelt 3 ele / 3 hurricaine 2 cold facet
pretty sure 6 skill and -10+10% > +20-5% 2skill by far

I played this build in the legacy, well a very special "home-made" version of it and it was quite fun on Normal and Nightmare. But without Infinity it became unbearably annoying and tedious on Hell. However, I kinda always dreamed about making it work somehow, and then when Sunder charms were introduced in D2R I was like "okay, my mister cold Druid now it's your time". That with another off-meta homebrew build was probably the most expensive and the most time spending ever for me but it was completely worth it. I did end up with a bit of different gear than you (not perfect + using CoH and Spirit shield [alt. Lidless for mana issues which is Godly], Sunder and stuff like that), and if we ignore the fact that I made it a bit more versatile with a couple of different points into pets, I'm very satisfied to see someone else tried and made it work!

I do love running with Arctic Blast on top of Hurricane as well, even tho on Hell it's quite less effective than on easier difficulties, but it's still fun and absolutely completely different experience than anything else. People will be surprised how much safety this build is offering, yes the clearing speed is not at "I drop a single lightning jav or a few frozen orbs and everything melts" and I wasn't really building it for the MF purposes (which you could definitely do as you showed here) but it's genuinely refreshing and enjoyable to play and just have fun! :)

Wouldn't it be better to cast Battle Commands before anything else? +1 skill for your BO, Bear, Cyclone Armor, and Oak Sage.

Good luck getting through nightmare first with a Druid. I eventually got him into hell at clvl 81. But he almost dies instantly.
So with only Druid you’re never going to get those runes for enigma.

What about an act 5 merc with andys, treachery, plague (eth cryptic sword) and greif pb? Tons of IAS, resistances (when fade procs), life leech. Level 17 cleansing aura + lower resist procs. Grief and Plague both have -psn resist so the venom and psn nova procs get a little help too. I'm going to try it out with your druid build (except with a cold sunder added).

The short duration on Hurricane and Armageddon is extremely annoying!
and having to spend hard points to increase it from useless to annoying sucks, someone at Microlizzard should be able to spend 5min to change this 😄

battle orders first, so cyclone, oak and bear are casted with higher lvl ...

Love the content man, been watching everyday on your daily uploads pretty much since I found you a year or so ago. D2 is an amazing game overall and I'm glad to see I'm not the only one who enjoyed and still enjoys it to this day haha
