I have to commend you because you looked at a full party build rather than simply strong builds. To make a decent guide like this you have to be talking about party synergies or Solo character challenge builds

A battlemaster fighter with 6 attacks per turn, 7 with War Priest? Thats cute. How about also using an Elixir of Bloodlust to allow another 3 attacks after killing a mob, and then another 3 attacks if you give them a potion of speed or caste haste on them.
13 attacks in a turn? Yes please!

what about 3 moonbeam druid + 1 lvl cleric to cast through sanctuary and have 1 striker or cleric as support?

all these build are for act 3.

College of Swords Bard should be able to be a better dual hand crossbow user than a Fighter/Ranger combo and i think Spore Druid abusing Haste Cloud with 18 summons has far better battlefield control than Cleric.

Spore Druid can Haste all your party members and summons for free, including Water Myrmidon, which easily covers you in healing.

Alot of these builds rely on endgame spells and weapons, but I don't have a problem with them endgame. Act 3 is really easy most of the time because of how broken all the shit you get is. What I have problems doing is beating the group of looters in jergals temple, or moonrise, where you don't have a lot of good stuff

For your consideration, the balladin. 8 bard 4 vengeance paladin, early game ranged slashing flourish for huge single target damage. Late game melee slashing for multiple smites in one attack. Add haste and you can put out like 200 damage in one turn easy. Also bard so great face of the party, and dex based so can be your sleight of hand as well. Perfection.

I love all of your builds and tried most of them myself but can you do a paladin build too?

i just want to thank you helping me out with my honor mode run. i managed to beat it first try but it wouldnt have happened without your help. (to be fair i allready played on tactician before but i died alot during those runs) i used your first video regarding an party comp. for honor mode (i think it was the first) the one with the Barbarian, Monk/Rogue, eldritch blast canon and Bard/cleric. funny thing is, in akt 3 i gave shadowheart away to viconia because i thought she is only going to erase her mind and i get the shar troops for the final battle but then i actually lost her and realised that i (the effin idiot) just lost my barbarian (i respecced her to barb) with all her equipment. so since i didnt even had the equipment for an build like that anymore i looked up an Fighter build of yours, to atleast have an frontliner again and went with that... even tho i couldnt get every piece of equiment for that anymore by this point it was still an worthy substitution it might actually was even stronger (edit: i just realised it actually was the Fighter/cleric build in this video right now, i wrote this comment before watching the vid). long story short... great videos, you earned a sub with me. (sorry if english is a bit janky i am from germany lol)

While I didn't min-max this the comp presented here is exactly what I ran for my first campaign.

In my honour campaign I’m playing with permadeath, so I’m actually going to use all the builds from both your honor mode videos across all my companions as backups 😂

The only one I think I’d change is swapping out that sorcerer with Gale as a Wizard. This is because I already have so many characters competing for charisma gear between the lore bard and the warlock

At 11th level fighter l, you get a 3rd attack. With great weapon master you already get to attack on your bonus action. A cleric dip is mathematically worse and redundant.

This is almost the same party i used in my first playthrough. I only used a sorlock instead of sorceror

I noticed in my last playthrough: you can cycle the arcane battery staffs through your whole party and make clerics/druids use the one time freecast for their lvl6 spells (buffs like aid/feast/summonss) and lastly give them to your battle caster in the end!

Most of these are endgame build, i'd be more prudent to actually give helpful build for early-mid game since endgame you're pretty much unstoppable anyway

Just be level 12 with all the gear and honor mode is a breeze

4 paladins:)

I just really love the throwing Barbarian (9 levels of barbarian, 3 levels of Eldrich knight fighter) or, if you have an eldrich knight in your party, you can use that character to bind the weapon, then hand it to your barbarian. Then you can go 9 levels of Berserker Barbarian, 3 levels Thief rogue for extra action. The tiger barbarian in your first video is also super nice.
Sorcerer is the most powerful class in the game if you are not class dipping. well, Sorcerer and fighter and Cleric, since cleric can do insane damage as well as healing. I really love storm cleric, but they don't make for good healers

Multiclass war domain cleric with 1 tempest sorcerer for constitution saving throw and free fly and 5 or 6 spore drood for shillegah and bonus melee damage, take the great weapon fighter feat and you have a cleric with perma guardian spirit and big melee hits

Bard with "Band of the Mystic Scoundrel" my favorite as a striker.

- Lazel - Pure Battlemaster
- shadowheart - Pure Healer Cleric
- Karlach - Throw Berzerker - War Cleric - Thief - Eldrich Knight
- Dark Urge - Dual Hand Crossbow Bard - Thief - Horde Breaker Ranger

What's funny is that this was my party composition for my first run. While maybe not identical in regards to gear and multiclass, the core of it was the same and I had zero problems on Tactician except somewhat early on at points (but not that bad). Seems like one of the more balanced builds to use on Honor mode compared to others that might be more offensive, but then are very weak in other areas that actually matter too.

I will die on the hill of Fighter2(archery)/Thief4(feat)/Bard6(swords). Beeline 6 bard to start, respec to Fighter1/Swords Bard 6 at lvl 7 for full armor/weapon/con save proficiencies, archery and con saves.

Stat splits are STR 8 / DEX 16/17 / CON 14 / INT 8/10 / WIS 10/12 / CHA 16

You have a little wiggle room if you use Auntie hair or want a half-feat for +1 dex. Also can dump in to 8 in order to get 12 wisdom which is arguably better for perception/insight and many nasty saving throws. Dumping dex for use of gloves of dexterity is optional later in the game, consider that in this case you will not be wearing Troubadours wonder gloves, which are amazing for this build.

Your feats are Sharpshooter and +2 dex.

You get some nice spells to compliment your pew-pew sharpshooting power, Slashing flourish makes every main hand shot into 2 shots AND REFRESHES ON SHORT REST! Same as action surge. Thief for bonus action off-hand attack. You can also go 3 rogue 3 fighter to get battlemaster maneuvers if you don't think you need another fear.

Every short rest you will be able to do 4(2x Slashing flourish)+ 4(Action surge = 2x Slashing flourish)+2(off hand attacks)+ optional 4(from Haste spell or pot + Troubadours wonder gloves(gives extra bardic inspiration and +1 ac. nice!)=2x Slashing flourish) = 14 sharpshooter infused hand crossbow attacks(12 of them adding your bardic inspiration die to damage) on first round of combat if you are hasted or popped pot of speed.

Every short rest. And bard gives you an extra short rest starting level 2. I can't play this game without a bard in my party anymore, I just respec Astarion to be my swords bard :D

Even if you don't like pre-potting or pre-casting buffs, you still can make it 13 attacks if you drink haste pot with bonus action! :) I have played around with ranger\rogue variant and bard is just more bang for buck. You get more spells, bard spells, which are amazing btw, same if not better utility with skills, you make amazing sleight of hand/stealth/face character.

In this party, swords bard will help your fighter and cleric regenerate their Superiority die/Channel divinity charges for more uses per long rest! And fill in the lockpicking/face duties, since he will be on par if not better than sorcerer for dialogue checks. Also makes a perfect candidate for casting enhance ability later in the game.

Ranger can work, but for hand crossbows striker for me it's hands down swords bard.

Would love to see one with the party comp including a monk for melee damage, a lore bard with a dip into life cleric for heavy armor +cc+heals, and then another 2 classes? not sure which!

So just a question for the rogue, is there any way to make it like an assassin build where he uses either knives or reappears instead of crossbows?

I accidentally killed the dealer who sells Ne'ers misser for my Ranger. Is there an alternative to this?

Powerful builds come back at you for the mirror match. It was the hardest fight I have encountered because my Ranger/Rogue could kill anyone on my team if they got the initiative.

For the cleric build, i STRONGLY suggest crpg bro build:
Get the armor from the under dark (the goblin camp entrance place), on a chest, which debuffs enemies with radiant orb aoe, and if you hit multiple it stacks. Radiant orb makes enemies have -x (starting at 2) for attacks for every round remaining (so if the enemy had -6, then for this round he will have -6, next round -5, etc).
This build is insane because it basically "increases" ac of your entire party to insanity + light cleric reaction to deny those crit hits on your allies.

if you use a storm sorcerer and multi class tempest domain cleric you can cast witchbolt at level 6 on a wet enemy, then use destructive wrath from cleric to deal max damage, along with the wet condition doubling damage. Then we can double Damage again with a crit with luck of the far realms (tadpole ability) to then double that again. It deals 288 damage minimum You can also twin the spell but the second target won’t get crit. So you can hit one target for 300+ and the other 144+ dealing 444-500 damage in a turn approximately. You can use create water or throw any water you have before the fight without creating aggro.
