I really appreciate all your vids, and your verbal fluidity (lol) ... don't think I've heard you go ummm ....ummmmm ..um, ever, in any of your videos. Ummm 🔥
Ответитьmanuals, a timeless trick with so many possible variations. love em.
ОтветитьThank You, Dude, your lessons are very helpful for me. I consider You as my virtual coach. So much usefull info, tips...and fantastic positive and motivational vibes! Cheers!
Best regards from Russia with love )
Way more helpful info then Braille provides👍👍
ОтветитьWhy do you suggest ollie before manual? Isn't ollie much harder than manual?
ОтветитьI`ve been watching tons of tutorials, but your channel is a real pearl!! Everything is explained in such an attentive, detailed and caring approach, and JB radiates super confidence and positivity! I really start understanding more about the mechanics of skateboarding bc I`ve been exercising mostly intuitively before. Great job guys, you rock!
Ответить✌👍
ОтветитьDoes it matter how tight your trucks are for manuals?
ОтветитьDanke! Keep on doing what you are doing for the Skateboarding Community!
ОтветитьWhenever I attempt a manual, I end up getting my front wheels off the ground and put them back down on the ground in a quarter of a second. Any ideas or just continue to work on balance?
ОтветитьLove the history
ОтветитьListen, great video, but why the FUCK would I need to know how to knee slide lmao
ОтветитьDetailed and helpful! Thanks!
ОтветитьI've got back to skating after 10 years break. All I'm doing now is sticking to your advices. I'm progressing with each session, and is so satysfing. Thank you guys!
ОтветитьThanks man ,
ОтветитьAaron kyro would've said you needed to be able to kickflip underflip Lazer disaster stal combo to do thos
ОтветитьGreat Job!!!!! Aurélio , Brazil
ОтветитьHi Man a suggestion please!I don't live near a skatepark or smooth concrete grounds...only aspahlt like normal street( often rough). I have differents wheels : Street wheels(spitfire 97a 54mm or bones 56mm 84b) or are better bones rough riders 56mm 80 a to be more fluid on manulas and learn it? Thanks a lot! \m/
Ответитьnice
ОтветитьGreat lesson.Any chance for surfskate?Poland.
ОтветитьThis felt like a home renovation show maybe… have been skating 20+ yrs I was really hoping for a couple tips to get my nose manuals more solid. But there were a ton of actual tips that were completely left out- that you were obviously using in the vids. Like explaining the pinch point to your heel or toe, that allows you more balance and can help turning, like you kept doing on and off the ledge. Also explaining truck tightness would have helped a few people I’m sure, but idk, much❤️
ОтветитьThanks!
ОтветитьWhat trick was it invented or at least made popular by Rodney Mullen
ОтветитьHey JB have you thought of doing a stretching video?.. Seems like a good way to prevent injuries...
Ответитьthanks but .... I fear manuals and wheelies are completely abou tbalance, not technique. You have it or you don't have it.
I do not.
So funny unnecessary criticism. Doing a manual on a skateboard is the exact same thing as doing a manual on a bicycle. To make it like a wheelie you'd have to figure out a way to incorporate some pushes.
Ответитьso much better than braille!
ОтветитьI love your lessons! Thank you so much!
ОтветитьAwesome video! I'm a little frustrated as I can hold the position quite well when not rolling, but as soon as I try to do a manual rolling, I always lean back just a bit too much and the board shoots out. As soon as I figure that out, I'll be manualing like a champ.
ОтветитьFantastic video as always! Only one complaint and that's regarding the volume of the intro music. It is screaming loud. This is generally the case on this channel but the content of the videos is so good so I usually don't mention it. Just thought I'd point it out this time, hoping for a slight reduction in volume for future videos :) Thanks, and keep up the good work!
ОтветитьOne of your best videos! Overall just keep doing you and I’m sure the vids will keep getting better just like skating
ОтветитьHow to find your balance point chapter. Very helpful, where my head is and again - its all in my head (again) lol
ОтветитьThe addition - wear quality pads and helmet clip was RAD! the little ding sound on the cut to padded up ... hells yeah
Ответитьgreat tips, now i know how to explain it my 7 yo son! i was actually stuck on how to describe manuals to him in a way how he would get it
ОтветитьVery nice JB keep em coming!
Ответитьwe want a JB in every skatepark of the world!
ОтветитьThis channel is sick! The best skateboarding's channel ever!
Ответитьthanks for this lesson
Ответитьthe key to balance is great advice
ОтветитьThanks for all your videos! Before watching it, I was sceptical about hiring a skate teacher, but now I see the importance of guidance. Lots of love from Brazil!
ОтветитьThe time and love spent in these videos shows. Never heard of finding your balance point first. Kind of obvious now. Thanks.
ОтветитьThis might be a weird question but Josh what is your shoe size because I’m looking for a new skate deck because mine is way too narrow (it’s a 8.0).
Ответитьhmmm I think I can manage to hold my balance for about 1 second?
ОтветитьСпасибо!
ОтветитьPads graphic are awesome!
ОтветитьThis is realy high quality instruction👍👌i subscribe
