I wonder what kind of "extreme" meals he eats
Ответитьso can i just buy this from you?
Muy buen trabajo
Differental Breather ?
Could be the most important part from the tank chair
Bom dia amigos vcs poderiam me me passar as medidas desse projeto
I like 👍
Hello dear! How may contact u?
Great job!
But
Why don't you use just standard transfer case with differential inside? 🤔😊
hello how can i contact you to buy this amazing gearbox? please i need this
Use two v belt pulleys set up with hydraulic levers. Uses absolutely no gears. Your better off and it's will turn rotate on a dime.
Excelente trabalho 👏👏👏👏
Wow wow 😲 thanks!!!!!
Very nice
Hi, how much does a box like this cost? please i want one
So, essentially, you've taken some of the workings from a hydrostatic differential from a ride on mower diff and made it into a crude tank diff. The idea I will be using is two hydrostatic differentials so I can keep independent forward/reverse on each diff. But I do plan on building a bigger machine, so I'll probably need it set up like that do I can get that super tight on the spot turning ability.
Yes this is awesome if u have an entire machine shop in ur garage
It's beautiful work but my experience with motorcycles and roller chains tells me you're going to be cracking that thing open to replace the chain pretty often.
Amazing machining work!!!
Why not putting those disk brakes on the original diff ?? less work, cheaper, stronger and same result.
Ответитьvery perfectly done
Ответитьhow much will be your price of this brake reverse brake transmision..... im from the philippines
You got some neat toys and darn fine skills.
Wow genius absolutely genius it’s small and compact it might actually be in the real tank that’s how genius it is
Perfect skil
Great vid as usual but what would you do with it?
Wow..this guy good..lol
You are the best
So I am completely ignorant here, but why can't a standard differential work the same way?
Perfect
Excellent production and machining skills! As a design? It wouldn't work. The failure occurred with the 'open carrier differential'. You would have TREMENDOUS pull to one side in any 'limited traction' environment. Contrary to popular 'explanation' of open carrier differentials, they send torque from the pinion to the ring (in this case, sending torque through the chain), where it is 'divided'...with the 'most' (read: all) torque going to the lower-traction side. What this means, is that if you have one side on a firm traction surface, and the other on a slippery surface, ALL TORQUE will 'escape' to the 'slippery' side. As a result, you have created a 'gear reduction box' that won't work on slippery surfaces. The 'differential' would actually work, if you had used a 'clutch-driven positive-traction' unit. In such case, it allows 'free turning' at low torque input values, but when a given torque value is reached (such as 50-ft lbs, 75-ft lbs, etc., based on spring pre-load), the unit 'locks solid' (akin to a 'solid axle'). What this would offer, is the ability to turn at low speed and reduced torque inputs, while acting as a solid-axle under high acceleration...closer representing what actually happens when you use a 'more-conventional' tracked transmission (such as found on an Argo, Snowcat, or Bulldozer)...even a 'dual centrifugal clutch' system is better than this, when it comes to actual performance.
KOOLL!!!! One question though, where is the vent hole for heat release so you dont blow the seals/gaskets out? Not a big deal if you overlooked it, simple as drilling a hole in the top of the box and putting a vent valve in. Again, nice build.
You are an artist with metal. Love it!
So I have a question… I work at a machine shop for electrical motors and when we do journals, (the area the bearing sits on the shaft) they are not slip fit like yours. Either you have to heat the bearing up to get it on or use a driver. How do you keep the bearings inner race from spinning on the shaft due to the loose fit? Wouldn’t that eat into the metal over time causing a failure?
What don't you say where get this part from!? Why don't you speak?! That's BS!
Thanks in a million. Great content. Awesome imagination. Grade: A++💥
Ответитьawsome... excellent.... niceee
Being Retired and watching Your Videos Absolutely makes me Missing Machining ! FanFreakinTastic Work !!!!
Beautiful job! But that's not a controlled differential steering as used in a tank or a Cletrac crawler tractor. It is simply using brakes to stop or slow down one side. A real controlled differential steering unit uses drums with planetary gears inside. Power is always maintained in both sides. The brake bands stop the drums, but the planetary gears keep moving which speeds up one side and slows down the other, maintaining continuous ground speed, even while turning. One side never stops completely.
Great👌👌 fantastic skill and design
What is the name of this gearbox ?
mantotep bangonget good
Gamelan music at the end of video
