Watching imperialists using grams per pound ... I'm sorry, don't be mad. I know that's what you're used to and all that. It's just... come on... 🤣
ОтветитьHow about coming up with a protein powder that doesn't contain Sucralose or other artificial bullsh!t ingredients? Think of just how much of that crap you're ingesting over thousands of days of taking this stuff? It's just now being tested long-term due to the idiotic US system of release it first, 'figure out if it gives you cancer or Alzheimer's later' approach 😂😲 No thanks. I'm not a guinea pig.
ОтветитьCool ad
ОтветитьI found Grass Fed Whey on Amazon (by Raw Organic Whey) at 4.2Cents per gram... Its $79 for 5lbs (90 servings)
ОтветитьI haven't seen many ppl focus on the other ingredients in protein powder like saturated fats, cholesterol, calories per and sodium %s
ОтветитьYou can't live on protein powder alone. So have a protein rich meal and add a protein shake with it works fine. I live in Canada so the price's for protein are a lot more than the price's in the video as a eg. Your Pro - 30G Protein is $74.00 cdn + 13% tax =$83.62 + the extra shipping cost to Canada + brokerage fee (depending how it is shipped)
ОтветитьAh yes gramms per lb why not gramms per Kilograms?
ОтветитьBeen waiting for a video like this.
ОтветитьJeff: Love your protein BUT please get the sucralose out.
ОтветитьYou have to include shipping cost in the price analysis; you are paying for shipping so it is an additional cost to the protein price per gram.
Ответитьsh** just bought 1kg of proteine powder .....
Ответитьa
ОтветитьJesse wearing one of uncle Dom's BSL cutoffs 💪
ОтветитьA GLASS OF WHOLEFAT MILK WILL DO. OR TWO.
ОтветитьMan stuff is so dirt cheap in the states. That 16 ounces of chicken in Canada would cost 4x Lauriers.
ОтветитьThis channel is terrible
Ответить1 egg got. 13g of protein wtf
ОтветитьThat's why it's called a sup-ple-ment. Just like Vitamins. If you don't eat a variation of food which includes a certain amount of different Vitamins, it's gotta fuck up your immune system. But Vitamins in pill form, is good if you don't get all of them.
E.g. I live in Denmark, where it's winter 3/4 of the year(!), so obviously I don't get a lot of sun. Nor do I eat fish, 'cause I hate it. So, I eat Vitamin-D (the only Vitamin I eat) to compensate for it.
Same goes for protein powder. I usually get plenty of protein, but some days I'm really in deficient. So to claim it's a waste of money, is BS
Whey can easily spike your sugar levels and knock you out of fat burning and on your way to insulin resistance. I'd recommend only ingesting the 29 Gs of Whey after your weight training session... With an extra 45 min nap and making your 8 hr sleep period into 2 periods for burst of growth hormone, one can only add about a 1/2 ounce of muscle and 1/2 ounce of mass daily. More than that is probably fat! And don't forget your foods that have vit C, pantothenic acid, potassium etc etc needed to build muscle...
ОтветитьHi Jeff
Awesome video!
Btw can I have a protein shake after a group exercise session oelr after 30 mins of cycling?
thanks
Not really here for costs or whatever.
But your egg cost 🤣 wtf. I bought a 36 pack of eggs for .99 the other day.
I guess this is during the birdemic.
Thoughts on redcon1 MRE Lite?
ОтветитьAlso take bioavailability needs to be accounted for. Most meat and eggs are above 95% efficient, and nuts are typically around 50%.
ОтветитьShameless self plug.
ОтветитьI just purchased the stack. Im back in the gym. Been a long time. Im Almost 50. Obvious the pre work out is before the work out. Best time for protein. I take morning and 1 hr before work out with creatine. And im guess the other for recovery after. Is this good choices?
ОтветитьSold I'm getting the pro30g
ОтветитьI can’t find the product on Amazon bro.
ОтветитьWhy not mention amino acid profile and bioavailability? Powder is highly processed and not as effective as grass fed beef
Ответитьthe thing is for protein powder. they dont really taste good.
ОтветитьHere are some of my concerns about protein powders. Protein powders are not regulated by the FDA. Protein powders often contain harmful metals such as lead, cadmium, and mercury. More often than not, protein powders are produced with biological engineering. Does frequent use of these products pose health issues down the road?
ОтветитьI heard protein powder is killing my gains
ОтветитьThe need for mixing grams with pounds shows how much useless is the imperial system
Ответитьno explanation about the PROTEIN QUALITY animal vs. plant. you want to truly build muscle, animal protein is properly metabolized, plant protein is not. FANCY INFOMERCIAL
Ответитьany alternative to whey protein? For intolerant people. Thx!
ОтветитьRoadkill. Free protein
ОтветитьChicken breast is $2/lb where I live in the US, and approx $1/lb where I currently live in Asia. It blows Jeff's cost argument out of the water for protein powder supplementation, though obviously that will vary depending on the cost of food where you live. But for most people, the $0.065/g of protein cost for protein powder is WAY above the cost/g of protein for other foods; it's the price of convenience.
Actually, all of his cost examples are incredibly high, probably because he is based in a coastal city where costs are nuts.
The point about not calling protein powder a "supplement" is something I don't agree with. Jeff clearly has a problem (and is not alone) with the "stigma" surrounding the word "supplement", as if it is unnecessary. Fact is, protein powder IS a supplement, just like how your daily vitamin/calcium tablet is also a "dietary supplement", as stated on the label. Just because protein powder is edible and can be taken daily, doesn't mean I'd consider it as part of a food group, because it's not.
And the part about exceeding 29g of protein per serving is just total BS. The segment before it literally said serving sizes are arbitrary and doesn't matter then goes on to tout his own brand of protein powder as the best because it meets his (arbitrary) leucine threshold per serving.
I respect Jeff and his workout advice vids immensely, but this one is just a load of baloney.
I would like to know what you think of Muscle Feast Whey Protein powder.
ОтветитьIt is a waste of money, I’ve put on more muscle since I stopped using it and by eating like a normal guy. It’s a scam industry, eat and egg, be consistent in the gym and stfu. It’s not that complicated, gym guys always overcomplicate things
ОтветитьOne big thing I learned from this video is that I need to add lentils in my diet 😂🤣 didn’t know they had so much protein lol
Ответитьstupid to use gram and pound😂 units
ОтветитьGood sales speech but I don't buy it like the 95% people in this comments section. I will stick to my real food.
ОтветитьDoes this equation work for other supplements, like Creatine?
ОтветитьI’m sorry but 6.99 a pound for chicken? All those prices were ridiculous 😭 I live in Chicago and I can find every single thing he said for much cheaper. Chicken is literally 99 cents-5 dollars a pound depending on the cut. I could also find whole raw chickens for 4 dollars . 💀
ОтветитьEasiest Diet:
250g chicken breast = 78g
0.5lmilk = 16g
4 eggs = 25g
Just these 3 give 120g of protein, whatever other foods you consume you will get an additional 20-30. If youre under 170 pounds, you definitely dont need protein powder if you consume a good balanced diet and it is so fucking easy.
I use optimum nutrition since 10 years and I love it
ОтветитьYep it has been completely debunked by many clinical trials but people dont pay attention!
ОтветитьMy eggs cost 20 a month I get 10 eggs a day so I consume a lottttt
ОтветитьI'm guessing that protein powder isn't a food because it doesn't have to meet the FDA requirements.
Ответить
