So was there quarter round where you put your tapping bar? Nice to just put "color match" caulking on head joint, where it's not Glued or locked into the other board. Halfway to a professional repair.

"floating floor glue" doesn't even make sense.

Im confused sbout the pull bar. How did you slide that in on the end of the board? Isn't that covered by the base board? I assume you normally have to remove the base board first to get a pull bar back there.
