Clips are tricky if you're not paying attention. Also, the legs don't slide into the holes very easily. I just put a little wd-40 on the end and they slid right in. Just a tip

Are you sure that’s a 22” kettle not a 18”er? 22” kettles usually have an ash pan catcher and the 18” has what you show a ash plate
