Biden's WEAKNESS is what caused the terrible situation for Ukraine in the first place, and BIDEN'S (no one else's) hesitancy to provide Ukraine with that they need to WIN has dragged this war out far longer that it should have been. It is shameful that only after TWO YEARS of suffering by the brave Ukrainians does Biden approve things like ATACMs...and you are STILL waiting for F-16s...because of BIDEN and NO ONE else. I have been ASHAMED, as an American, by Biden's handling of this war. It should never have happened.

A strong US President would have sent US troops to Ukraine when we saw Russia building their troops on the border for MONTHS in 2021. Russia said they were "just exercises". Well, we could have said the same thing. We're just going through "exercises" with our friends in Ukraine. There would have been NO WAR.

And while the US Congress was in a stalemate over how to fund Ukraine, it was President Trump (the guy who was President when Russia did NOT invade Ukraine) that broke the stalemate with the suggestion of making some of the aid into a LOAN, particularly the non-military portion of the aid package. Former President Trump was the FIRST US President to send military WEAPONS to Ukraine. Former President, and now Presidential candidate TRUMP, met with Speaker Johnson the weekend before Johnson proposed the changes to the aid package that got the votes needed to PASS in both the House of Representatives, and the Senate.

For the most part, the funding for the military aid goes to US citizens building the weapons that Ukraine gets, OR the weapons our allies get in exchange for what they send to Ukraine. Denmark and Netherlands will get F-35s, built in the USA by US Citizens, to replace the F-16s they send to Ukraine.
THAT money stays in the US and benefits US citizens. YOU get the weapons...WE get good paying jobs. WIN-WIN.
The non-military aid for economic support is actual money that goes to Ukraine, and is now in the form of a LOAN. The legislation allows the loan to be forgiven in the future IF Congress chooses...and they may well do so at some time in the future, as we did with loans to countries during WW2.


There seems to be an attitude that "Biden is our friend" and "Trump is our enemy" among Ukrainians (I talk to lots of Ukrainians every day, half my family is in Kharkiv). Please do not fall into that trap.

That is NOT true. One thing you CAN count on about Trump: He has a HUGE ego. The Hugest! And HE wants to be the solution to this war.

The eastern front line appears to be very fluid. I expect that that next week will see a turnaround with Ukraine on the attack especially when deliveries of the bulk of military equipment arrives from the US and the EU.
