I made it to day 14 water fast...and I was annoyed with myself too. But you explained it correctly...we have use the time that we are fasting dedicated fully on God...in prayer, reading the bible

Yesterday Sabbath I spent all day just really feeling impressed that I wanted to fast. Than a moment ago I was asking if I should do a Daniel fast for something of great importance coming up may 3rd.. I even smiled, because Daniel Shadrach Meshach and Abednego were found 10 times more wiser, and I said I sure could use that. LOL than I just came across this video. Glory be to God. I also just watched Barbra O'NEILLs The Law. I'm in Awww. God truly answers.

Wow this was a great reminder, I'm getting ready to start a 21 day Daniel fast in couple days since its a new year and I just clicked on this video at random. I've done a Daniel fast at the beginning of each year for a while now and it is so easy to get caught up with the food aspect of fasting. The heart posture is truly so important or it's just dieting. I'm glad I came across this video when I did.

I’m day 3 water only. My goal is 21 days. Is it better to Daniel fast than to water fast. I don’t want to die from lack of food

Thank you for this video the very reasons you mentioned l need to do this 21 Daniel fast.
Except that l PERSONALLY DO not believe fruits was included in the fast. Because all fruits has sugar. Hence he said he eat NO choice or Pleasant food. What if Daniel didn’t even used ANY spices 😮 to make it taste or delicious. Due to the fact he didn’t even use oils to smell pleasant. I think it was just steam vegetables in water No seasonings (maybe 🤔). 😂😂😂😂

I already follow a plant based so I will have to fast on water.

There is a difference between a contract and a covenant. A contract can be broken.... if you make a covenant with God you better make sure you keep to it until the end! God is a covenant keeping God!!!

We all need it

I have watched a lot about fasting because I am a beginner and trying to learn as I go and this really spoke to me and what I needed. I was so stressed that I can’t go 3 days and I decided to start with intermittent fasting and I always prayed but I an 28 and just now taking an hour of my morning to sit and read the word of GOD on my own. I use to depend on watching sermons and etc and I still watch them but the high I got from GOD when I sat alone with him just does something different. I am so grateful for the messages GOD is leading me to, to help me better understand what he needs from me and where my heart should be focused on 💖🙏🏾

Where are you getting your fast information from?

Is Daniel fasting starting from a certain time and end on a certain time or for 21 days you just eat the allowed food at any time of the day?

I've never fasted a day in my life. Today was my first day on the Daniel fast and I'm doing 21 days. I'm going to pray my way through because day 1 was HARDDDDDD but I got this! New subscriber!
